Yeah I remember chatting with Halsin at the party and then one of my dialogue options was like "Sorry I was so forward earlier" and I was like ??? I didn't say anything flirty? wtf game?
For what it's worth, I never apologized and eventually that option went away after a while.

The thing I think that's pulling people in, especially the lonely af tumblr girls, is how nice some of the characters can be if they like you. The little terms of endearment? THAT is what makes the girl players squeal. Watch a few of 'em on youtube and see how they react to being called "my dear."

Maybe someone here can tell me what I did wrong cause I can't find an answer when googling.

I am in Act 3 and I was planning on siding with the Stone Lord, but I was never given the choice? I ran into him and fake Jaheira in the sewers on accident and they attacked me so obviously I killed them all. Then when I got back to camp the real Jaheira was really pissed and told me she hopes I die (rude) and ran away. But WTF am I supposed to do what this guy randomly jumps me in the sewers and is immediately hostile?

All the guides say that there is a choice you have to make at some point but I feel like I missed it or skipped past it on accident or something. I'm not too sad because I didn't like Jaheira much anyways, but it does suck that she's not gonna help in the final boss fight or whatever.

Did you bring Jaheira to meet Stone Lord?
She will ask to knock out him instead of killing him.

You need Jaheira to get the Stone Lord, as he is her old buddy. Without her, he isn't recruitable. Don't ask me why is he much younger, he is the comic relief and got time travel or got frozen or something.

Of course fujos would love the game. Astarion is, DnD Edward.
Oh, I didn't realize you had to bring her. I wasn't really trying to do the quest I was just exploring the sewers after finding them through the Emperor's old hideout and had no idea what I was walking into.

Astarion is a faggot and also evil as fuck idk why anyone likes him. He literally is the reason a bunch of innocent kids got turned into Vampires. Tho I guess it is ironic that they made a gay the Vampire.
 
Jaheira and Minsc are companions fro the ancient BG1/2 games. They come as a pack together.

Astarion is frankly Twilight-inspired. I can't tell you why Twilight is popular, but I'm not the target audience. He is just a more foppish Edward.

You don't need Jahiera present, but she must be recruited and hanging out in your camp at least. To recruit Minsc, he needs to be non-lethal K.O'ed, and after that you need to pass some checks to stabilize his mind. It is nice to have Jaheria around so that the two of them can interact is all.

She was hanging out in my camp! When I got back she yelled at me, told me she hopes I die and then ran off. Man how are you supposed to know you're supposed to KO him? I have never heard of this and the game gave me no indication of this. 😭 He was so easy to kill too...

Astarion is the vamp while Halsan is the budget werewolf, and Minsc is the true love at the end of the story. There I made twilight more bearable.

The concept of vampires being charming and charismatic is nothing new, they're a metaphor for corrupt royalty and the incestuous nature of how they hoard power. That's why they always live in castles. Astarion is an aristocrat he scoffs at you at the start if you mention being from Baldur's Gate because he sees you as lower class.
 
So how many users have taken the dwarf-pill and decided to start race-mixing?
 
Any ways to permanently kill companions? I know I could just ignore them, but I think it's funny to be the judge and kill them off for not being used. If you just kill them, they're still resurrectable. Karlach can get murdered for the paladins or Wyll. There's the BOAAL sacrifice. Durge can kill Gale in the portal. Giving their body and soul to Haarlep. Staking Astarion. Any other things?

A funny thing happened with Shadowheart. I killed her on the beach and put her in a corpse barrel in my travellers chest. In act 2 when I freed Aylin, she got resurrected and asked me where the astral prism was. I gave it back to her and she joined my party, none the wiser that I just freed the Night song. I reloaded and told her she wasn't going to get the prism back and killed her. I'm pretty sure this happened because I didn't confront her about the prism. In an earlier playthrough, I met her at the the goblin camp and killed her for the prism. In act 2, she still got resurrected after I freed the Night song but she was flagged as an enemy.

That's a big downside to the game imo. If you don't long-rest enough, you can miss out. Me over here pining for the owlbear death knight friend that could have been, lost because I didn't long rest enough to trigger it.

The rest system in general seems too generous. Short rests should not be a thing. That feels like cheating. Not that the game isn't challenging, but short rests take some of the bite out of it.

Having someone able to cast Remove Curse is the only way I could deal with those stupid skulls.
A throwing hammer knocks them out in one hit.

I want a mod that ignites all torches/lights in the game. I can't help but manually enable each one I find.

The first act was solid, the second act was great but the third act was where the game fell apart,
You have companion quests simply stopping when they would lead you to the upper city, major NPCs that should be in the upper city being in very weird places not doing anything and entrances to locations that should be in the upper city in very weird places that make 0 sense and in no way reflect the attention to detail Larian observed on other maps.
many of these locations are back, and many news ones are waiting to be discovered for the first time - giving you a chance to explore the menacing roads of the Outer City, the opulent estates of the Upper City, and the dark alleys and pubs of the Lower City.
They did cut out most of the Upper City region, using only a smaller portion for the endgame.

The Upper City - The most obvious one. Swen himself talked about the "Affluent Upper City" just 2 weeks before launch and described as it being fully explorable and yet it's very noticeably absent from the final game.
Then, the work shifted: tying everything up that had been involved in the Upper City and moving it elsewhere. This went incomplete by August 3rd.
Looks like it was a last minute cut.

Avernus - An entire area of the game. Avernus was meant to be fully explorable and of similar size to the Underdark Area of Act 1. It would be a source not only for Soul Coins but other rare materials, highly difficult fights, and special content for Karlach.

Bhaal and Orin versus the Creche - An entire Act 2 battle was cut in which Bhaal's forces, led by Orin, attacked the Githyanki creche which led to a fight where you either sided with one or the other or had a massive 3-way fight on your hands.
The lack of lengthy, epic battles is also annoying to me. I want a couple more wave after wave type of endurance battles.

Only one I know for sure is saving True Soul Nere. I think you're allotted one rest at the Grymforge, but any more and he and the gnomes die. Pretty sure you can't leave the Grymforge either or you fail.
Daisy - It's not a secret that Daisy was cut from the game after the last EA release and replaced with "The Guardian." Originally Daisy was representative of the tadpole in your head, not the Emperor, and would attempt to seduce your character into staying in the meadow by the river with her forever. A happy life with an imaginary dream lover while your body underwent ceramorphosis and was lost to you forever. Daisy was such an important part of the plot that both of the games theme songs "Down by The River" and "The Power" are based entirely upon Daisy. Datamined content also shows there was originally an ending where players would embrace a romance with Daisy and give themselves over to the parasite, forever leaving their individual consciousness "down by the river" with Daisy.
That sounds cozy. Just need to add a full size van, and I'm down with down by the river living.

Looks like they already have a head start on a lot of good content for the DLC.

Can Lae/SH be rez'd if they jump out of the nautilus at the start?
Yes, through the long rest machine thingy. Somehow it has the power to rez them if they're in your party. I haven't not recruited Shart in the tutorial since I like getting the everburn sword so I wouldn't know what happens if you don't.

I'm not 100% sure what triggers it since I only had it in one playthrough, but Shadowheart can Kill Lae'zel in an argument in Act 1. Quite sure you can easily step in and end the argument before throat-slitting occurs, but my character did not want to deal with screaming women so he went back to sleep instead. (I do wonder if Lae'zel could kill Shart in this scenario as well, if the choices are played differently.)

Lae'zel can also break down and try to kill you during a long rest in the gobbo camp. (Maybe it happens elsewhere but every time it has happened in the gobbo camp for me). She will pack up her tent and agro the whole camp, or you can convince her to kill herself instead.

And, finally, the last special one I know of is that is you hand Astarion over to the Gur man in Act 1, you will find him as a zombie in Cazador's possession in Act 3.

EDIT: Sweet Lord I almost forgot the best one. In Act 2, in the hive area, Wyll can die. If you don't save Mizora (Which I couldn't do because the game glitched), Wyll will remind you to do so before you enter the final boss arena. If you ignore him, he starts begging to go back. If you ignore him again, Mizora dies that instant, and Wyll bursts into flames right then and there. Funniest shit in the game. If Wyll isn't present, Karlach will ask to go back. If she isn't around, I don't know. If you leave Mizora without Wyll in your party, narrator says something lame like "A piece of something special was lost", and Wyll is left as a pile of ashes at camp.

Aww, I missed seeing him in Act 3.
As soon as I found the vampire hunter I drew him a detailed map of how to get to our camp and exactly which tent Astarion was in.
