Huh. With the sheer amount of thirst I've seen directed towards Halsin, I expected him to be a bit more popular in fic.None of them are perfect, but I'm surprised having three non-monster men to one non-monster woman isn't enough.
When it comes to the female dominated world of fanfic, Astarion is by far the most popular, Wyll and Halsin the least.

There’s really not even that much thirst for him. It’s just people reacting to “Bear sex”.Huh. With the sheer amount of thirst I've seen directed towards Halsin, I expected him to be a bit more popular in fic.
Eh, I've seen my fair share of women thirsting for him because he's like seven feet tall, super muscular, and is good with kids. Not nearly to the extent of Astarion, of course, but he's definitely not unloved. There’s really not even that much thirst for him. It’s just people reacting to “Bear sex”.
It's better than usual slop. And avoiding any fanbase of popular things is good thingI gotta admit, this game’s fanbase is really turning me off from playing this game, between all the degeneracy and the hyping up of it as the “most revolutionary and important game of the the decade” (to the point that it’s even one of the top rated games on Backloggd).
Well, you can literally kill any and all characters in the game if you want and it’s a completely possible way to complete the game. Its freedom of “here’s a thing to do” is pretty damn excessive and complex. There’s lots of games released just this year that are better than the usual slop, so what makes this game so much more “revolutionary”?
Resoundingly OK. Horribly overrated, but still OK and well worth the price.I gotta admit, this game’s fanbase is really turning me off from playing this game
Depends how you play it I think there's only 1 major mandatory fight, you can sneak through and/or trivialise the majority of encounters. What's the ratio between dialogue and gameplay in this game?
Haven't done a full play through dark urge yet but it seems to get quite meta and the narrator really hams it up, seems more suited for a new game+ mode than a beginning option. I'd chose 3 origin characters to play with then chose a class that either compliments or won't contest gearI might actually buy the game with all the good coverage. Just two questions: What is a protagonist class? Usually martial classes are very limited in the ability to solve problems. And is Dark Urge good for the first time (without acting on it)?
You are correct, athletics/strength rarely work in dialogue. To balance this Martial classes are the most damaging in all but the toughest difficulty setting.Usually martial classes are very limited in the ability to solve problems. And is Dark Urge good for the first time (without acting on it)?
I would advise getting a background like Noble that gives you persuasion proficiency. Dark Urge I think is best suited for 2nd or 3rd playthrough. You don't need to choose an origin, a donit steel oc works just fine.I might actually buy the game with all the good coverage. Just two questions: What is a protagonist class? If you want to socially finesse your way through, Bard/Sorc/Warlock/Paladin (and to a lesser extent, Cleric and Rogue) seem to be the way to go with how many charisma based checks there are in dialogue. All other classes are great for the murder path, with the Barbarian being the most hilarious.S
