I know everyone here already knows XKCD is worse than cancer, but I made the dire mistake of checking in just now and good God has he been on a tear lately. I knew he'd have some really stupid takes on the pandemic, but I didn't expect him to cover it for 19 comics in a row.

19 comics in a row were related to this pandemic, except the April fool's comic, 2288: Collector's Edition, which was probably already in the making when the first comic came out (and even if so its release was delayed until April 3rd). (So 19 out of 20, and all of the comics in March 2020 was about COVID-19. Many find pleasure in the fact that it was 19 comics on COVID-19!)

Christ, the faggots who write explainxkcd are almost as insufferable as Creepy Randall himself.

Today's XKCD comic isn't even a comic, it's just another text-only one, full of polls from questionable news sources. Perfect Reddit bait, as usual:

I had no clue the comic or the wiki exists but the wiki itself annoys the crap out of me. Scanned through a couple of the wiki entries and the majority of them read like high school level english class analyses. It also kills me that the long wiki pages are attributed to comics that are two panels at the most.

Dogs bark at anything that's weird looking in comparison to its norm; my neighbor's dog would bark at me if I came up to him in a winter coat even though he knew me.
Trying to proclaim that a sub-sapient animal can be racist is near the pinnacle of seeking out victimhood; you might as well say the sun is racist because it's really hot and sweaty in the regions most black people live.
EDIT: Lol, they also gave human thumb and king crank of the Flat Earth movement Mark Sargent an "interview" that comes off as a bit too kind and glowing compared to the content levied at people they criticize, so I think their mindset is just "what is the wokest thing I can say right now?"

The defunct Candi is one I'd consider pretty bad...

  • Despite being an art school graduate, Starline (the creator) showed gradually worsening art to the point that people's heads looked like their skulls were the shape of a bucket of chicken. She'd just gleefully ignore any advice given to improve her work.
  • Most of the cast are either selfish and/or immature. They use other and have no qualms about hurting others if it gets them what they want. Jessie used to be the best character until she finally had sex and became as vindictive as the rest of the cast.
  • Starline based a plot line of the title character getting dumped for another woman on her own experiences which is ok. But with how the series treats Linda (the woman who stole Candi's selfish boyfriend) while Alex the continuelly cheating boyfriend got a slap on the wrist shows that Starline wasn't over it.
  • The writing is overall boring after you read the later chapters.

Raise your hands if you're familiar with Brooke McEldowney's work, 9 Chickweed Lane. Because he's got a webcomic called, Pibgorn. At first it was an okay comic in a pretentious, tries to be intellectual, but eventually it became a sex-obsessed mess to the point that plot was sacrificed for his fetishes and showing up his critics.
