So this isn't really a webcomic, but I wasn't sure where else to put it and I just had to share it. It's a comic drawn up for some village called Homewood in Illinois that's supposed to make the place more appealing to Millennials, but... wow... it's pure soy.

This honestly feels like a parody or it was made by aliens. Soy-based aliens.

>"the future is female" and "#love goals" shirts
>a child's name like "Zen"
>"millennials having a SAVINGS ACCOUNT! rofl!" jokes
>avocados

yes sir this smells like trying hard to pander to millennial to me...

That art looks like it was referenced. Heavily and mercilessly.

this is some wikiHow looking shit

It's like King of the Hill! Surely that's something the young millennials can resonate with!

A cursory look at a map tells us that homewood is as far from Chicago as Gary Indiana.

45 minute drive with no traffic, 2 hours with.

That "Vice and Luna" comic they have entire fucking articles dedicated to on Anime News Network. I swear the creator is blowing one of the higher ups there

I think you're right. These comics give me a sad feeling that I can't pinpoint.

is this just... the meme equivalent of bad video game comics?

i tried to find the actual comics on google but putting in "vice and luna" only brings up anime news network and the tumblr account and a lot of images of that one luna chick from the mlp movies, including a lot of weird badly edited screenshot porn ??

Has anyone commented on Pilot yet?

http://pilot.smackjeeves.com/chapters/97579/prologue/

The art is passable, but the way it’s maintained is so bad, it has gone several months at a time with no updates. The creator requires 100 retweets before making a new page, which fucks up their schedule real bad (which is a webcomic no-no) It has less than 40 pages and somehow has a TV-tropes page, the creator is known for lashing out at people and just overall being rude to anyone that dosent kiss her ass and the characters themselves mainly seem like reworked characters from back when she was famous for doing FNAF aus. The funny thing is that all her fans act on eggshells around her because her clique will literally lash out at any criticism no matter how minor

This one is somewhat obscure, I guess, probably since the comic lost its website in rapid time for no apparent reason and is only hosted on DeviantART now. I myself found out about through /co/. It's a little trip down hilarity road called Sweet Dreams Bakery. Highlights include fat fetishes, disability fetishes, evil skinny frenchies, a fatass protagonist so intolerable that one might mistake her as satire, and an odd perchance for people pissing themselves and/or explicitly drawing attention to the use of uretic catheters.

Hawt. By the way, orangey there has scoliosis. Within the first chapter our heroic protagonist goads him into getting hit by a car and hospitalized. Shit's hilarious, but for all the wrong reasons.

And, y'know, the obligatory bad anime art. Shit's not up there with Kit and Kay Boodle, but its amazingly bad.

The actual comics are each under an ANN article here.

The hurt/heal fetish juxtaposed with a kawaii bakery/cafe story feels like an OSHA violation.

Look at the authors. This is the work of a known lolcow. JesuOtaku changed her name to Jacob Chapman when she decided that she was trans. I want to say that her dedicated thread doesn't even have a reference to this webcomic yet.

HAAA HA HA! Oh, man. What funny comic. What a witty joke that was. How humorous. What an excellent punchline, so well calculated to elicit amusement from humans.

Also, take a look at red-shirt person's folded arms in the first to panels. I'm also not sure if that gray thing on xir's front is meant to be a tie. The top part looks mainly like a tie, but the lower, vertically-oriented part looks more like an opening in the red garment to reveal a gray garment underneath it. The shadows on the top part of the gray thing are also more suggestive of something placed under the red garment than of a tie lying on top of it.

Looks like you hit the nail on the head about that whole blowjob thing without even realizing it, @Uncanny Valley. Nice find. This is a Lolcow I haven't gotten around to enjoying yet.
