Yeah, I tuned out on webcomics for the most part. His comic was one that always made me mad because it was so lazy, so full of pandering bullshit. And badly, badly drawn. And yet he was somehow a success. Truly, there is no God.
It also bugs me because it used to be a comfy read and then it just turned into... that.

Thinking on relationships, I miss when Jeph would show romances, warts and all. Marten and Dora had problems in the roughly 1000 pages they were together, but they could have ended up engaged or married instead of breaking up over Dora's issues because you saw why they worked and also why they didn't work. Wil and Penelope worked as a deconstruction of the initial spark as we learn the reason Wil was able to go on a long journey of self-discovery is because he's unemployed. Faye and Sven hooking up was presented as a bad idea destined to fail from the start, and it was.

Around the time Faye and Angus got together, he stopped doing this shit. They had no real problems, she was over her issues for the most part, and they only broke up because he had to move for a job. Marten and Tranny were sugar sweet in a way that made no sense for the comic. And somehow, when she got with Tai, all of Dora's issues magically went out the window despite the fact that Tai was polyamorous and so there would be even more worry about cheating.

It was a comic with barely any edge... and it lost what little it had.

I admit, I'm still reading QC. And Dumbing of Age. At this point I'm committed to see them end, and I wanna see every flaming wreck it gets into. You gotta understand, I've been reading them for like 20 years (or 15 in the case of DOA), I have to see the end now. Although they're likely just gonna continue on low gear forever.
Although Dumbing Of Age recently did some changes, by finally queering out some of its last remaining previously straight protagonists. Only very few straight people left in that one.
QC, however, will just go on with about as much edge and risk as a pool noodle. A pool noodle safely stored in a cabinet where nobody can use it.

DoA I quit for a long time. I was on board for a long time, but then Becky came in and really overstayed her welcome, which Willis loved because he could play the "you just hate LGBT people" he did for Malaya and Carla. Funnily enough, he talked about how it was so bad to be racist, but by the end of book six, despite only being a main cast member for two books, Becky had more appearances than most of the non-white characters. I dipped out around the middle of book seven and occasionally dipped my toe back in here and there until I found myself actually reading it again a few years ago... just because it's dumb but in a way I can find appealing.

QC I quit when Faye's new robot gf had that arc where they couldn't find her memories or something, it was just so out of place and didn't work that I realized Jeph really was trying to take whatever he planned for Alice Grove and jam it as hard as he could into his actually successful comic. I should have given up earlier, but momentum can carry you through a lot of shit. It's how I finished Dragonball GT.

DOA is currently doing a thinly veiled Palestine thing where there's some genocide in some fictional country and all the colored people can be righteously outraged at campus protests that the police basically guns down like it's the alt history of Watchmen. It also lets said colored people be super high and mighty to the white performance lefties like Dorothy and Joyce (who are now in love with each other). It's hilarious.

Bro you hear of sunk cost fallacy?
Now if you'll excuse me there's a Sluggy Freelance update to read.

I don't even think I got started on of DoA. I was pretty done with Willis' retarded preaching by the time Shortpacked wrapped up so I didn't make it very far into DoA.

QC I tapped out when the Tranny did the dick reveal.

Dorothy and Joyce (who are now in love with each other)
Oh just kill me Willis now.

Willis troon out arc when?

Bro you hear of sunk cost fallacy?
Yes, and I'm all in. I started in like 2006, and I'm gonna see the end.
Oh just kill me Willis now.

Willis troon out arc when?
Shouldn't be long, he did introduce a new troon character a short time ago as well (Joyce' brother is now her sister).
It's a really nice arc at the moment.
Joe and Joyce have been dating and Joe was super concerned about improving himself to the point where even Sarah acknowledged he was a good guy now, only for Joyce to cheat on him with Dorothy and Joe asking if they can go poly.

I'll admit, I still check in on QC myself. I started to read it back near the beginning, and old habits die hard. But what really irks me is that over time everything that made each character unique has slowly vanished. If you were to line up all the characters now, aside from a few outliers they are virtually all identical. Jeph at this point is living out his own fantasy world where everyone is some sexually ambiguous hyper-intellectual with a single minor quirk that makes them unique enough to warrant there own character, but not enough that they stand out. The only ones that don't fit the mold at this point are Pintsize, the felon girl robot, and the bar fly that writes trashy romance novels. And none of those three are regulars as he tossed two into the trash heap and one became a glorified secretary. The closest hes come to making new characters that really stand out were Yay (which he has now sledgehammered into his preferred mold) and the science gremlin which he is morphing into just another boring side character.

So, I'll take the dubious honour of introducing a... friggin' weird one to you.

This one is an adult comic, but I'll only post a couple of safer/higher quality images here, since the worst part is by far and away the art. Not saying the rest is amazing, though.

Chenda Chit Reboot is drawn by Kamikiku, who is a 30ish year old Spanish man living in Japan, and has been drawing for years. I don't know what the original Chenda Chit was, and... I don't exactly know the 'plot' of the reboot, but I'll try to explain.

As far as I can tell, the plot is that the two main characters are lesbian lovers, with the brown one being fucking crazy. That's part of the plot, she needs some special injections every few days or else she bulks up, has her clothes rip and has purple liquid come out of her breasts.

These are the good guys, by the way. The bad guys I think are interested in conquering the world and bringing about genocide.

I think the final word should be left up to the poor tortured souls of e-hentai, who have left such inspiring comments like:

"You fuckers will go blind if you saw the original"
"Even Chris Chan's drawings have better detail."
"Ugh this is fucking rough. It really does look like it was drawn by like an early teen. Like goddamn you need to learn some fundamentals here cause it's not good at all. The massive watermark stamped on top of all these pages is definitely not helping it either."
"stop your fucking updating ... you should feel sorry to our eyes"
"I've stated elsewhere that I would rather see someone's MSPaint doodles than 'AI' slop. This is testing that assertion to its limits."

The updating comments are because the 217 pages? Have all been done this year, and translated into Spanish and English.

A previous comic by him had 201 pages, aand going by the filenames, were drawn between May 6th, 2023 and June 23rd, 2023.

Tags: "Females Only", "Yuri", and "Scat". He's a Eurocel Yuritard living in Japan with a scat fetish. This spic will get the penis chop before the decade's out, if he hasn't already.

In very slight fairness to him, I went over that comic a few times, and I didn't see any.

Granted, that's probably because I only looked at the thumbnails and a few of the... better quality images, so I could have missed it.
Or suffered brain damage of some sort and am now unable to recognise it.

Both fairly reasonable options.

I'm pretty sure that the older comic is the original Chenda Chit. The author helpfully provided a synopsis in the comments
Chenda is not as another human. She came from another Universe before our Universe. Chenda belongs to the wrrior class of the Yochipaki Tribe, named Halatochtli. Their enemis of Yochipaki tribe are the Wutanabis, monsters who eat evrything and make more damages.

I’m already not too fond of the “cute animal flip flops between #relatable and spewing leftist talking points” genre of webcomic (IE Blobby, RIP). But IG_Doods is particularly bad because of how lazy it is. Just basic cute animals in a void talking about depression or how all rich people should die.

How do these people get so much traction off of this? I don’t consider myself to be an amazing artist, but I could do basically the same thing in less than four minutes!

There, I did it. Where’s my 111K followers, Instagram?

I'm going to post this here.

Other webcomics people might remember Paranatural, which was a pretty fun comic I dropped over slow/inconsistent updates but also because the creator took their silly coming-of-age FLCL-inspired ghost battle comic and was going into faggot/gender shit even before it was omnipresent. Which was the final straw, but really it was the slow and inconsistent updates that made me drop it.

Anyway, I got a reminder it existed and went to see if it had become fully gay and retarded, and I guess the creator gave up on trying to make a comic over a year ago and is now just posting pages of text with an illustration or two.

Truly, all is faggot.
