Back in 2007, some friends of mine and I discovered a yaoi horror webcomic called Torment that somehow got posted to the old comicgenesis site for a suprisingly long time before the creators decided to continue it on a now dead webpage, and it quickly became our own personal shock cringe page, particularly the image with the demon guy riding a spiked dildo a'la 1guy1jar. The art wasn't great, the story and content were horrific and the art style and characters were clearly heavily inspired by the Hellsing manga, jumping between grotesque attempts at edgy pseudo-realism and lol so randumbXD 2000s chibi shit.

Warnings for incest, necrophillia, guro, and mid 2000s yaoi.

Also, there was another comic they worked with alongside this one called Sentium that was about a teenage mental case being sexually groomed by his doctor. It's still viewable through Torment's page. Ye been warned.

The monstrous id creature that took over Greg's body Mae Dean offers to let his wife kick him in the balls one last time before he has them removed.

Aside from there being no prior history of Liz kicking Greg in the balls (or even joking about it - and if there was, it would only raise more questions than it answers) it seems like a very Greg thing while also not at all like the woman he's been established to be.

Ah, who am I kidding? It's exactly like the "woman" he's been established to be.

Greg and his partner have always (even when it was a different woman) been portrayed as a sitcom odd couple. Greg is the butt of every joke and Liz is always portrayed as the reasonable one, even when she's threatening to commit physical abuse against her husband wife father of their child. He is, if nothing else, the Homer to Liz's Marge, the Fred to her Wilma. TVTropes even describes the latter comic character as 'Closer To Earth'.

But aside from the meat of the comic now being mostly trans stuff, it's funny how little that character dynamic has changed when it's now supposedly a story about two chicks.
 
I'd say I'm looking forward to the impending divorce arc, but let's facts: he clearly is too big of a fag to have fucked his wife this decade.

This isn't funny. None if this is funny. Did he forget the punchline or is his life that much of a fucking joke that he doesn't think it needs one?

It is that much of a joke. In earlier strips there's a whole arc where he retells the story of his wife's real life mental break over him coming out to her as trans. Instead of her being accurately shown (according to her personal posts) as constantly crying and quietly freaking out while she's stuck in the mental ward, she's a represented as some quirky badass who takes no guff from the nurses. Of course she was always presented like this in strips in the past, so it's probably safe to assume that she wasn't ever much of a badass IRL either. The way she is on her Facebook backs that up more or less.

Basically the whole comic is more like therapy for Greg than an outlet for comedy. With the amount of time he's spent pretending his wife was someone who she wasn't, it's no wonder he ended up trooning out. After that it wasn't much of a leap for him to do the same thing for himself too.

What stuck out to me is the fact that as soon as she gets out of the hospital, she's hit with a literal deus ex machina that makes her magically 8 months pregnant. Greg even jokes about how unexplained it is, but obviously he didn't want to portray himself as insenstive enough to decide to come out during her 3rd trimester. Hospitalizing a pregnant woman is bad optics.

It's also pretty telling that his "inner woman voice" is a carbon copy of the angry adolescent edgelord that he was 20 years ago but was forced to mature out of. Then came decades of him passively-aggresively lamenting that he has to be treated like a punching bag while women get to act selfish and antisocial and get rewarded for it. It's remarkable, gender transitioning often isn't about change, it's a defense against change.

This is just sad. I feel bad for this woman. To have her very personal and very real issues just put into a dumb webcomic and have her opinions and personality twisted to what her husband wants.

Troons can hang. In Minecraft.

It is sad for her but I wouldn't let her completely off the hook either. Both of them are oversocialized reddit type millennial nerds living in California. You can get an idea of what their self images are like and how they would feed into each other just based on that.

Everything from him up until the trooning out was probably exactly what she was most comfortable with. This is the kind of woman who is a fragile mess at her core but tells herself that she's a boss just so she can cope. For her it must have been a load off that her cuck "best friend" husband always deluded himself into seeing her the way she wanted to be seen but definitely wasn't.

He won't shut up about COVID. (He has made far too many comics about it compared to other topics if you scroll through his archive)

Other than that, his comics don't make me laugh, I just stare at them wondering how the hell they would be funny to anyone and what his thought process is when making them.

In other news, Twokinds is old as hell. 17 years old? It's almost legally old enough to get married.
(not that that stopped any of the characters in the webcomic)
Also weird that the creator of the webcomic is Markiplier's brother but seems much more autistic than him. (not to say Markiplier isn't a little weird at times but I don't think there's been any major scandals involving him. Mark even looks better than his brother lol)
I haven't read any of the webcomic (nor do I plan to after reading a few reviews on it), but from what I've heard, it's autistic furry fiction, with a "side" (debatable how large it is) of nearly sexual fanservice. The plot isn't anything amazing and the fanservice doesn't help.
