I think the only major issue will be that there is no way to tell the health of his gums anymore. His teeth could fall out before anyone realized anything was wrong, though I’m confident this guy doesn’t go to the dentist anyway.

Here’s the thing: the utter stupidity of the tattooing aside, this WILL have a negative impact on his hearing. Our ears specifically evolved to funnel sounds into the inner ear. Removing part of the flat (top area of cartilage) probably wouldn’t impact you that much, but to remove the conch? This guy is no longer just an idiot, he’s an idiot with poor hearing.
