Some of the worst tattoos on earth are hiding against black skin. Problem is you can’t see them. I think it’s pretty stupid to get one at all if there’s no way to color or shade or make it visible, it always looks like a faded raised scar as soon as it’s healed

Yeah, there are two categories of tattoos that imo, while the art on them can be very well done, I just don't care for. One is the aforementioned "bunch of random tattoos thrown together without any cohesion". It looks messy and like the person just wanted to fill their skin up with random pictures like they were collecting girl scout badges. Another is the ones that completely wrap over a large part of the body (entire thigh, full back, etc.). Some have painting-quality style and lots of colors. But it just feels like TOO much. Plus some also like to jam a bunch of little images in said large tattoos so it's almost like the first category anyway.
