I always liked the detail that the mostly unseen guy running the dick torture dungeon and cutting that guy have the same chest branding as the one with the tattoo. That attention to detail is necessary in a world where it could otherwise be a really rude and ironic hipster tattoo.
 
I hope as these filthy individuals get older some see their gross, saggy misshapen bodies and decide tattoos are not for them

Completely misses the point that tā moko in Māori culture is resonant with meaning and many forms (especially around the mouth) denote things like oratorial abilities. Many forms of true tā moko are only allowed to be tattooed at the permission of tribal elders.
