Those people are evil themselves, they vote for the insane laws and cheer when a "racist" is jailed for facebook posts because it makes them feel like they have power to force their will on others. They will cheer all the way into their graves when the AK bullet is searing into their skull and their last thought is "Why me? I was always on your side!"
Good point. Yeah, screw the extreme left in general.

Europeans don't see themselves as "whites" in the same way caucasians in the USA do. Most of the voting population supports the parties that are in favor of more immigration, and at least up until now, terrorist attacks really have not made any real difference to that support. The thing is, if something happens in Austria or France or anywhere not in their own country, for the rest of the Europeans it could've just as well happened in the Moon. It's not a threat that means anything to them.
But isn't it obvious that if your neighbors are suffering because of immigrants and you're doing the same thing they are, your country will probably be next? People in the most heavily afflicted countries should have some camaraderie despite their cultural differences, no?

It wasnt, there was just a lack of executions.
It's like my mother always said: You can never have enough executions. What were we talking about?

It's like saying the US should have solidarity with Canada or Mexico just because they're neighbors.
Europeans fought and killed each other for hundreds of years - to stop that from ever happening again is one of the reasons for forming the EU. People still remember though: It's not a reason to literally fight anymore, but it's like being fans of different sport teams.

Eye witness talks about the shooters calmly targeting people sitting outside of bars.

The US company SITE, which specializes in monitoring Islamist websites, quoted a jihadist on the alleged attack in Vienna on its website: "Jihadist says the attack in Vienna is 'part of the bill' for Austrian participation in the US-led coalition" it says in one sentence. A picture from downtown Vienna is included. The USA had established an international coalition against the jihadist militia "Islamic State" (IS). As part of the coalition, dozens of states in Syria and Iraq fought against IS at times. Austria also joined the coalition, but made no military contribution.

Thanks, Obama
Any time you see SITE, an Israeli spook outfit, coming out with exclusive info you have to wonder just how involved Israel was in the operation.

Press Conference said some stuff we already knew, one heavily armed shooter taken down, at the very least 1 still at large.

150 Cobra members, 100 WEGA members deployed in Vienna

No detailed motifs known as of yet. Next update in a little less than 5 hours.

The two videos that were released showing the civilian being gunned down were released by an Israeli tv station. Someone filmed CCTV footage with their cell phone and somehow the tv station got ahold of it first.

Also the Austrian Interior Minister is kind of a chad.

I don't know how hard it is to understand that EU is not a singular cultural entity in the same way that USA or Russia are. We don't have any real camaraderie, or even very much connection to what happens beyond our own nations borders, despite being superficially all part of the same pseudo-federation. Most of the Europeans don't understand the language of their neighbouring countries, and due to this, can't even reliably follow what happens in those neighbouring countries. Also, while anti-immigration sentiment has been growing steadily in the past ten years or so, most of the people will not change their voting patterns just because some muslims go on a rampage, mainly because they loathe and distrust the anti-immigration politicians even more than they hate the situation that is brewing up. And I can understand them; I didn't start to vote anti-immigrants of my country even though my city had a terrorist attack some years ago, simply because I will not be intimidated to give power to people who are objectively idiots and who, apart from anti-immigration push for politics that are stupid, conservative and fucking backwards.

In short, since most European voters on ideological grounds oppose bringing back some outdated christian moral conservatism and right-wing identity politics, very little will change in the near future. If anti-immigration parties would wisen up and keep their anti-immigrant stance but drop all the conservative, anti-gay, anti-EU and especially pro-religious moral ideas, they might get to power and things might change. Since anti-immigration stance is heavily married to all that shite, most voters will not even consider them as an option, as even though there are real problems with the muslim immigration, those opposing it come with a package that is a no-sell.

CNN's comments on Facebook are full of Armenians blaming Turkey
Judging by my Twitter feed it's not just Armenians.
Which I'm okay with because fuck Erdogan

All news of attacks in other districts than the 1st are hoaxes according to Vienna's mayor

The bomb vest the killed terrorist was carrying was a FAKE, again according to Vienna's mayor.

It's funny how remarkably similar that sounds to the two-party shit here in America. Constant choices between package deals full of shit we don't want instead of a la carte. Something tells me it's by design - a way to try and Trojan Horse in crap no one really wants.

One of the terrorists may be dead.

I see. Very informative post, 10/10. I guess it's hard not to say things that are completely off the mark when commenting on the politics of foreign countries, heh.

I can't wait to see what the Austrian people do with this one.

If Americans think Europeans are liberal, they clearly don't know anything about Central Europe or how they responded to the migrant wave.

They make American Republican Theocons look woke.

How did Central Europe respond?

I wonder how they made that determination. I thought standard procedure in a situation like that is to do a controlled detonation of the suspected bomb, just in case.
