Australia targeted by 'state-based' cyber attack, PM Morrison says
  • 6 minutes ago

Australian government and institutions are being targeted by an ongoing sophisticated state-based cyber hack, Prime Minister Scott Morrison says.
Mr Morrison said the cyber attacks were widespread, covering "all levels of government" as well as essential service providers and businesses.
He did not identify a specific state actor, adding that no major data breaches had been made.
The activity has been increasing in frequency over many months, he said.
He said the government's cyber experts knew it was a state cyber actor "because of the scale and nature of the targeting and the trade craft used."
"There are not a large number of state-based actors that can engage in this type of activity," he added.
"We raised this issue today not to raise concerns in the public's mind, but to raise awareness in the public's mind."
Last February, Australia's main political parties and parliament were hit by a "malicious intrusion" on their computer networks carried out by a "sophisticated state actor".

Stop blacklisting websites and the DDoSing will stop.

It ain't hard to piece the clues together.

Retribution from foreign nations for increasing Uni fees, no doubt.

It is actually a lie by Scott Morrison to deflect over poor parliamentary performances this week which include:
-Anytime Labor Party speak they acted with the speaker shut down discussion or questions with "we move that the member not be heard"
-The NBN report which showed that fibreoptic highspeed broadband was only delivered to 17% of the population (that 17% being inner city safe Liberal party seats) and came in at $15 billion dollars over budget, whereas original plan aimed at covering 93% of the population.
-Massive internal conflict in the QLD LNP
-Polling suggesting they will lose Eden-Monaro in a massive swing to Labor
-Suggesting in response to a woman forced to give birth on the side of a road on live TV that instead of providing health and maternity care to rural areas (after NSW Liberals massively slash rural health services) that they should upgrade the highway so people from rural areas can get to metropolitan hospitals quicker.
-Massive loss with robodebt where he and Human Services minister agreed to pay money seized back but have attempted to tax the re-embersed funds as an increase in income, and have not provided a set date as to when they will pay back the illegally seized money.
-Australia heading into recession with Morrison and Fridenberg planning to cut Job Keeper payments in 100 days despite an increase in unemployment rate in Australia from 5.1% in February to 11.2 % today.
-Housing scheme of paying a proposed $25,000 being near impossible to access and was designed to sound good but not actually be able to be used by majority of people.

In this article here in the Sydney Morning Herald on the subject it states although there has been an increase in malicious online activity there has been no one co-ordinated incident as described by Morrison.

In short Scomo is doing his usual bullshit spin of taking the information of increased number of cyber attacks over the last quarter and told everyone it is instead a massive targeted online attack currently underway in order to distract from the Australian Govenment's, and his own, piss poor performances which were starting to be discussed in media outlets this week. This is like spraying air-freshener in the Engadine Maccas in order to pretend he didn't shit himself.

Looking forward to the new edition of the Bolton book in a few weeks

Labor shills are so low IQ. You can’t compare “hey this is how much our proposal X will cost, vote for us!” to the actual cost of project Y. Also paying people to stay home 4 months from now isn’t going to save us from a recession

I'm not a Labor shill faggot. I'm that 5% that actually decides elections in this country so suck my fucking dick cunt because that is what every party does to win elections. If you think that "Flashy Slogan but actually do fuck all" benefits the country you're a cocksucker no matter which way your vote goes. Check every single one of my claims yourself, and they're right. Liberals under Howard had direction, Liberals under Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison are cuckholds to private interests and China and you're deluded if you think that they're the same party now as they were in the early 2000s.

Morrison lied about the cyber attack. He is a dog cunt. Admitting that has nothing to do with being a Labor shill.

Edit: What would have saved us from recession 1. was not cutting subsidies to manufacturing as it meant there were jobs making shit to sell to Australians and 2. not criticizing China on behalf of Trump when Australia and US were in negotiations with China for Barley and Beef which meant the contracts went to the US putting more Aussies out of work. But you're too "high IQ" to get those concepts (particularly Scotty got played by a better businessman in Trump)
