Is there an upgrade to the looting button? I like how it works and not having to open every cabinet but its still a bit jank and I have to walk up to a desk or whatever a couple of time for it to work and magnet pull all the goodies inside.
There isn't an upgrade but if you are having trouble with loot getting stuck in the drawers I found that capping the framerate a bit helped. The default was at 300 fps for me and it didn't cause any problems at first until I went into some of the buggier testing polygons. The loot would start getting stuck all the time, and then eventually my shok would stay on cooldown so that it was unusable, but capping the framerate at 120 fixed that problem.

Been neglecting the polygons/testing grounds until now, just did two of them and they were almost completely puzzle based, Are they all like this? I like the puzzles for the most part so i don't really mind but i was just looking forward to it being more robot killing in these areas.
They are mostly puzzle based, but a couple of them have boss fights that are harder than the story bosses.

Game was fun, but I wish there was more enemy variety. Grapple QTEs also frustrate me. I hate pass/fail QTEs in a genre where "complete loss of health / fall into a pit" are usually the only two absolute game-over scenarios.

I'm not sure what to think of the "Walk away" ending. The casual mention of an unidentifiable polymer blob being caught on camera makes me think that it is a perfunctory "let's pretend to give people a meaningful choice" addition, and that if there's an option to import your old save into DLC it'll say something like "yeah when you walked off Charles killed Sechenov in his sleep, got his shiny new neuropolymer body from the body-dissolving tub, and destroyed the Alpha connector" so that there's a similar outcome to the "Kill Sechenov" ending.

It pisses me off how these idiots somehow miss the entire point of dystopia. Whole world got brainaids over the last decade.
There's no longer is any thinking involved when writing articles that are barely distinguishable from smear pieces.

Streamer mode, journalist mode are a legitimate option in games right now because some soyboy couldn't make it past the Cuphead tutorial.

I'm not opposed to devs adding what amounts to "babby's first [game type here]" modes to games for the most part, but if they do, it should be mandated by law that it be called "Journalist mode." It mocks journoscum for being the lazy, incompetent cunts that they are, and it really pisses them off, which is something all of us should strive to do at every opportunity.

I'm almost done, Just have to beat the twins. Game difficulty is strange! To say the least any boss after Belyash, I didn't die once and was harder than hell before that on normal! Once you start leveling up and going to the theater the game is a walk in the park.

Pump telekinesis and freeze. If you min max psyker shit this game becomes trivially easy.

They put out another update for the game. It included a bunch of bug and graphical fixes. But the one that I was happy to see was the FOV slider. It's not a slider but a more precise number selection. The game is at 80 by default. That's where the FOV selection starts and won't go lower than that. There should have been one in the game from the start, but it has one now. I thought it would have been lower than 80. I guess that's why it didn't bother me so much because it wasn't 75 or 65. The lowest FOV in game I have ever heard of is 65. That is pretty bad. Low FOV settings don't bother me like it does some people. Some get motion sickness, but I don't. But playing at 90 or above is better than 80. If I can get the FOV to just 90 I am fine. Currently I have it at 100 which is what I use in most of the FPS games that allow a custom FOV. Though I used to use 90. I think anything over 100 or so starts to look a bit ridiculous. I understand why they probably went with a low FOV in order to make the game more immersive or something. But all games should have a custom FOV setting.

I also had more time to get into the game. It's definitely Russian Bioshock mixed with Doom 2016 Doom Eternal and the newer Wolfenstein games. I also hate getting choked to death by robots.

I think all streamer mode does is keep copyrighted music from playing. I don't think it effects the gameplay and difficulty. There is already a difficulty selection. I went with normal because I always go with that. The best games let you change difficulty while playing the game.

I just finished it without ever having worked out how to upgrade my weapons. If you blink you'll miss the tutorials and not see them again. Or else I wasn't paying attention - which isn't inconceivable.
I'm playing again I'm so annoyed with myself.
Big downside is how dark all the interior sections are - it does spoil it.

???

It literally forces you to make an upgrade step by step at the beginning using the coomer fridge. Were you high while playing?
too focused on the sex fridge to notice

Well, not that far into the game and already had a good amount of jank and bugs. Most of it isn't game breaking but just had one where the character got stuck during a mandatory platforming segment and bugged out mid-jump animation on one of the platforms. Stuck in place and couldn't move/jump forcing a restart and loss of 30 min progress.

No amount of polish can wipe away the slav-jank.

Call me crazy, but I think the MFU-68 robots are kind of cute.
