The ironic thing is that Tsushima is nothing like Shadows. Jin wasn't a samurai. Also the biggest improvement with Shadows is towns, and actual buildings that aren't shacks you can go into.

Tsushima itself is essentially empty in real life from what I've been told.

I haven't played a single AC game since that shitshow Unity (never even finished it), but i got alittle excited when i heard this new AC was going to be in Japan, i have only myself to blame for getting alittle excited because of course they find the ONLY nigger in Japans history and make him the protagonist, it's almost funny, i should have excepted it due to it being a Ubishit game though.
 
Ubisoft sent special Assassin's Creed Statues to streamers in Japan. It did not go well...

What's even funnier is that they're not even sure he came from Africa. He could have easily come from India.

Nah, I don't blame this on the Chinese. If one thing they can do it's follow what the design is. Ubisoft sent this to them as it looked and they just copy pasted it.

I really appreciate that trailer they released where every time Africaman was on screen they played hip hop music, because black man y'know. Progressives are funny sometimes.
 
I was going to ignore the whole race thing because the game itself seemed decent (as a standalone title, not as an Assassins Creed but the AC games havent felt like Assassins Creed for a while now so whos surprised) and while it is a history related game it is also still science fiction so im not gonna give too much of a fuck about how historically accurate it is.

..then I saw the new gameplay where they have that dumb hiphop rap trap remix music playing during combat, it feels way too on the nose and like theyre trying to mock the character. I really have no idea how that got through, somehow it feels more offensive than if they had characters call Yasuke racist slurs throughout the entire game.

This game is by Ubisoft Quebec, the retards behind Syndicate and Odyssey. Take a look at this dev team of French Canadians and notice the trend.

Imagine these liberal hipsters turning on hiphop, looking at the only black guy in the room, and then doing the "black power" fist salute to them. It's one of those situations where you have a bunch of turbo leftists that try super hard to pander to a minority group but then end up exposing themselves as being incredibly racist because they know nothing about that group other than stereotypes.

Which is one of the MAJOR reasons these titles blow ass now, regardless if the game is well made or not. After years of firing their concept artist's and removing everything that resembled pre Unity AC, their blatant disregard for design structure was the beginning of the end for the series. Just look what this game would've been if it was made by 2013 Ubisoft.

I understand why they would have the idea to move onto representing the concept of assassins in different cultures and ways but by now a lot of them just feel like theyre entirely new franchises, somehow none of the original sentiment and creativity flows over into the new games. And at that point id rather them leave Assassins Creed be and just create an entirely new line of games with a new plot idea, maybe then they could actually be pretty good games without leaving behind a sour feeling of "This is supposed to be AC but it doesnt feel like it."

The prospect of adding different cultures is not the issue, thats literally what every single game in the series has been doing, its what makes every new game interesting. But somehow by now they have no idea how to make that interesting anymore without diverting from the original point and idea, Odyssey and Valhalla somehow have 0 AC feeling.. I dont know what went wrong.

Honestly. It comes across badly imo. They seem to deliberately be fine with dropping the ball because it's Japan. It's like they don't respect the culture enough to accurately represent it. They like the aesthetic, but not necessarily the culture and history.

Or to borrow the language of our enemies: cultural appropriation. They see the ninjas and samurais and go "those are cool, let's take them!". Problem is, when they do it, they're presenting it as "oh no, this is just what it was actually like". Instead of "white girl with braids", it's "white girl with braids then turning around saying that white people are known for their braids and dreadlocks and it's always been a huge thing for them".

Sadly, I am familiar with both subjects. No personal experiences but I am well aware. Problem is that these guys have casted themselves as the good guys and every time we call them out, we are branded as evil.

That they are so assblasted by everyone choosing the male protag, even tho they made such hecking epic and valid books and comics nobody read that made the female canon.
Not to mention the awful, awful SUITS keep putting the male in the promo material cause they actually wanted to make money.
And thus make a male protag nobody wants to play in a childish pissfit.

Apparently theyre two seperate characters with two seperate stories, so you switch between them like you did with the Frye Twins. I am honestly glad about getting this back since ive been getting sick of having "non-canon" characters that you can insert yourself into aka ones that are blank slates. The AC characters and their philosophies and worldviews have always been ones you should be able to see yourself in, but the fact that characters like Altair, Ezio and Connor are so fleshed out and have their own motivations and opinions makes them easier to relate to than when you have to think up a lot of the character yourself.
 
This is what you get when Rooftop Korean's don't allow niggers to steal from them. Three decades later they'll get their white slaves to fuck with all your people in the entertainment industry. Next time just give them their malt beer, watermelon, and smokes. If you don't, they have to go back home and raise their kids to do this.
