If you spend any time poking around myproana.com, you'll notice that the anachans are obsessed with collarbones. "You'll have visible collarbones" is one of the items that pops up a lot in those "reasons not to eat" lists. Those clavicles are her pride and joy.

We know Ashley is a b/p anorexic, but do we think she's still bingeing these days? It seems like that'd drive up her weight, even if she's purging it all, because you can't purge every single calorie. I know some people have talked about her likely not having the strength to purge anymore, so she's switched to just restricting.

as logical fallacies is saying,

she doesnt have the strength for that anymore i think,
partly because you do need certain muscles to purge,
suddenly inhaling food after restricting also puts a lot of stress on the stomach and purging after that is a recipe for hell.

and i think she is at the state that even if she wants to eat, she cant,

i know of one anorexic, was on a british show, called, diets of hell i believe,

she was anorexic for years, and damaged her body so much that she has to eat pre-chewed food, its as disgusting as its sounds so she froze them .
and she wasnt even as thin as ashley, and she also needed a walker and a weelchair to get along and would pass out by simply sitting on the bed

i came across this thread looking for things on Shmegeh. kinda half assed read and skimmed through here for the last three days. she seems like the type that just lives off of people talking about how sick and skinny she is; just like eugenia cooney. i think the way to kill her off is to just quit paying attention to her. lack of attention is her real poison.

What I’m curious about is what attention Ashley even wants. I don’t even see “OMG so scary skinny” comments on Ash’s feed, just really vapid, generic positive vibes BS stuff.

Ash goes out of her way to post random body shots that showcase how horrifying she looks but then adds the “no negative, muh mental illness” disclaimer. So nobody can tell her she needs help, nobody can comment on her appearance and everybody is supposed to ignore the grotesque body part she posted purely to shock and which was the entire point of the post.

Is it just to remind everyone she’s still a skeleton? Does she ban anyone who posts real talk comments? It’s just interesting to see every comment studiously ignoring the giant elephant in the room.

I can’t pinpoint Ashley’s attention needs either, tbh. An anorexic chick I used to work was content with being treated like a Victorian sick heroine, but Ashley seems to be more complicated (even if the less interesting way possible).

oh i'm 100% sure she gets those comments and just deletes them. but i still think she gets fueled reading those types of comments, even when she deletes them. honestly, i think any and all types of attention keeps her alive.

I almost wonder if it’s another form of passive aggressive control. She knows everyone is gawking at her emaciated condition but likes making them tip toe around it. They HAVE to look at it and be aghast, but they can’t say anything besides empty positivity.

Kind of like drug addicts never want anyone ragging on them being useless junkies wasting their life, they just want ppl to shut up and give them what they want or pretend everything is fine.
 
Attention whores aren't very picky about the attention they get. Positive attention boosts her ego, negative attention gives her something to complain about and play the victim.

I think you hit it the closest imo.

Lich Queen is into control (hence the raging eating disorder), and she gets a thrill out of people expressing concern about her. It feeds some bizarre black hole of attention without the negative reactions because NICE COMMENTS PLZ

This can happen with birds, where air gets trapped under their skin. It's very creepy and fatal.

thread got kind of "hijacked" by erika, ahsleys spoopy friend, and every one was licking her arse till she proved to be just as much of an attention seeker.

i like reading it because its so weird,
