Articles & Happenings is the third attempt at a news board on the Kiwi Farms. It is a cursed place. Every moderator who has been assigned here has resigned within a year. During 2016, the political crossfire was so bad it spread to different boards and culminated in me banning American news discussion entirely for several months. It has been deleted in its entirety twice. There is no actual discussion here, it's people posting garbage. It leans much further right than the rest of the site and doesn't particularly conduct discussion because dissenting opinions are dogpiled by a thousand memelords posting shit they read on /pol/ without any critical analysis.

The only rules that can be enforced are empirical ones with boolean violation answers. New threads must cite a real source directly and must use the headline of the article as a thread title without any editorializing. Articles must be archived in some way and must link to the original article. Replies that are one word or a reaction images are automatic one-month bans from the board.

I'm creating this now because it seems like this place is here to stay and is one of the largest areas of the entire site. I might as well throw in bare minimum effort to improve it. I don't even try to find mods for here because they will quit, without exception. I've added new prefixes ("Business" and "Crime") just now.

Imagine getting assmad at getting forum stickers, making it obvious that you're assmad about them by drawing attention to the stickers you got, and then trying to lie about it.

Why else would you neg-rate a post that only talks about Q and QAnon unless you're assmad that they were making fun of it? And no, he only rated things that talked positive about Q as "agree" and "like". Although it is ironic that you were whining about me neg-rating you in a PM chain where you guys were hiding from me because I don't like Trump and neg-rated you guys, and now you're making these claims here. I thought you guys moved to discord so you could have a hugbox?

They seemed to get pretty offended by it, so I'd say it worked pretty well. Then again, if we've learned anything since November it's that they're easier triggered than the dangerhairest dangerhair on Tumblr

TBH, it wasn’t even about the stickers. Most of the people that have left to other discords have mainly done so that they can sperg by themselves without having to worry about a thread getting derailed. It’s still just as autistic as the Farms, possibly even more so, but it’s generally more cohesive. Also, I believe everyone likes to be in groups of like minded people, that’s just human nature. What I don’t like however are those that pretend they don’t have hugboxes of their own, with places such as Supporters being a hugbox for T&H to gossip about others on the site. So long as we can all admit to having our own hugboxes, I really don’t see an issue here.
 
God fucking dammit I was told to imagine to so many things in the last few posts that now I have several imaginary friends and live in Imaginationland.
