Articles & Happenings is the third attempt at a news board on the Kiwi Farms. It is a cursed place. Every moderator who has been assigned here has resigned within a year. During 2016, the political crossfire was so bad it spread to different boards and culminated in me banning American news discussion entirely for several months. It has been deleted in its entirety twice. There is no actual discussion here, it's people posting garbage. It leans much further right than the rest of the site and doesn't particularly conduct discussion because dissenting opinions are dogpiled by a thousand memelords posting shit they read on /pol/ without any critical analysis.

The only rules that can be enforced are empirical ones with boolean violation answers. New threads must cite a real source directly and must use the headline of the article as a thread title without any editorializing. Articles must be archived in some way and must link to the original article. Replies that are one word or a reaction images are automatic one-month bans from the board.

I'm creating this now because it seems like this place is here to stay and is one of the largest areas of the entire site. I might as well throw in bare minimum effort to improve it. I don't even try to find mods for here because they will quit, without exception. I've added new prefixes ("Business" and "Crime") just now.

it just came down to a conflict of philosophies, and A&H was a big part of that since it does attract a lot of new users. I get what you're asking for, and it's a legitimate question, but do you really think OWO is gonna go digging through A&H just to prove a point? Assuming that you both are coming at this legitimately, they're not a moderator. Not really their job to. Maybe examine it yourself, if they won't do it. If they're wrong, and I'm wrong by extension, I'll be the first to welcome the evidence with open arms.

Playing devil's advocate here, but a lot of people would be pissed if Null unilaterally decided he didn't like X board that wasn't A and H and deleted it and just said 'I'm the owner, shut up and deal."

People do it on occasion and most the times the post they talk about being so horrible have been negrated quite a bit.

I am not the one making a positive assertion that there was, quote, a "mass volume of autist(s)" leaking out of AnH.

As someone who says they appreciate intelligent discussion, I imagine you are quite aware that it is generally up to the person making an assertion to do the legwork.

I mean, the argument will stalemate if someone doesn't budge at this point, and we'll be back at square one until Daddy Josh decides to smash his gigantic dick on A&H because he's tired of this argument coming up again and again.

Which, I will reiterate, will only make an even bigger problem than leaving it as is.

In the new Null announcement, he said something about a staff walkout. What was he talking about?

And yeah, people shouldn't carry Off Topic into non-Off Topic.

I see plenty of Alt-Right types on here, but A&H is more of a giant big tent pro-Trump circlejerk than anything else. It's not very Right-wing as in very far to the Right, but very Right-wing as in a ton of Rightists crowding out everything else.
 
here's the thing, you're not on trial, you weren't charged with a crime

right now the site owner is convinced that this is what happening on his private property that he has a right to revoke from you, so I suggest you work on either accepting the warning and doing what you can or convincing him otherwise through means that don't just piss him off further (like DEMANDING he proves it to you, as if he owes you anything)

And that, frankly, is perfectly fine. Ultimately, only Null's feelings matter and nothing we say in this thread matters one whit. As we can see from the current point under discussion, however, some people are here just to score some kind of points in a game that matters in their own minds and are not interested in backing up their own statements.

There was a mass exodus of moderators (Not because of the DB leak btw) that left the forum because they got tired of dealing with people from AnH leaking into other threads in the site.
