Only did the guaranteed 10-pull because I'm trying to save for croc harmacist, managed to get Quercus anyway. If this is an apology for the dragon sisters banner I'll take it.

I got GG in two pulls. GG indeed. Wondering if I should bother with Fiametta and Horn because while I like both characters, I really want Irene and limited banners can get fucky like that.

45 and no GG. My account is at the point where I refuse to spend money, not that I was a big spender outside of monthly card and an anni pack here and there in the first place. But my collection autism is screaming at me.

Got another Saria spook at least...

I'm glad this place is back so I can discuss this money sink of a tower defense game with you all. Have some intercommunity drama that happened during the interrim. Good luck with CC#8 everyone.

Reading the replies of that tweet were so funny as it was happening, like out of ANY gacha to say was horny, you choose Arknights??? Azur Lane is RIGHT THERE, even published by the same company.

Would you guys recommend this game to a new player? I only know about this game through that Rainbow 6 crossover they did a while back; would you recommend it?
I mean, you are coming to a thread for fans of the game so you're going to get biased opinions.

I'm certain all players of Arknights have quite positive views on the game. Whereas something like FGO it's own fans may dissuade you from playing.

It is very beginner, casual and f2p friendly. All controversies (though minor) have been addressed by the devs nonverbally but shown they have listened by their actions in game.

There is a ton of content available at all times, regular events and even game modes that do not require sanity/energy to play and receive rewards.

I'd say give it a go, there is no harm and it's pretty low time investment unless you want to go hard.

Wish I could give you more than one like; hell of a lot friendlier community than the one on Reddit, that's for certain!

Thanks for the kind words; I'll definitely try and give the game a shot, if I can get an opportunity to. I does look fun, and I am actually interested in the story, admittedly.

And if you're new don't be afraid to consult some guides or yt videos on team building tips or who to upgrade first. You can get by with bad operators but some of the top tier choices can get you going faster.
Also remember that you can beat almost everything with low star operators and in the beginning it saves a lot of grinding to upgrade them first.
Other than that remember that there is currently a CC going on (a event that is hard and is used to test your limits) so if you start playing now and dont get risk 18 on your fist week everyone will laugh at you. jk

There's always the issue in starting late to gacha games that's largely about FOMO with older content and needing lots of time to catch up due to additional systems that have been added over time. Thankfully, AK in particular has several features that mitigate the former, and the latter isn't so much of an issue because of how deliberate they've been with raising the power ceiling. The game itself is well-made despite the seemingly simplistic format. It's rather surprising to see the many ways they've figured out how to innovate the humble tower defense genre with every passing update.
Now is a good time as any to start if you're curious about it.

Uncle Nearl just got revealed, Liberator Guard 6 Star.

I'm so happy, I've been praying for him to become playable since his first appearance. My player survey ramblings have been answered.

not a fan of requiring Chelter to do a good chunk of the hard stages tbh but I guess that's the price of wanting to R18 on the first week
risk 18 all the way.jpg

also Shoutouts to Kyostin

I have not used Chalter once this CC, or any limiteds for that matter. Though it looks like you are using a low rarity strat so idk.

Hoshi is the MVP of this CC for me. Watching those little archer dudes wreck themselves was fun.

KyostinV is a hero we do not deserve, I actually really appreciate how little BS he has in his guides, no "Like and Subscribe" or shit like that, just plain old, here is the team, here is the strat, bye.

New annihilation was pretty easy. Did risk 18 on day 1 and borrowed a strategy from someone i do not remember. Hopefully this can continue cause this is the only place i would ever talk about the game. Every other opinion is just a bit too disgusting.

got all the medals this morning, it was an alright CC, that light gimmick and annoying snipers sure made it harder to get a R18 working strategy but still good nonetheless
and yeah, I hate that fucking giant slug, thank God you can straight up ignore it and let it slide
all medals from cc8.jpg

Now begins the back to back pulling season. I hope you all have some pulls save cause i sure don't!

40 pulls to get everything. Story is pretty interesting. Seen a ramp up on those status effect dealing enemies in recent events. Gonna have to E2 a op to deal with those.
