I need suggestions, guys. I've been raising bad units for a while now. So far, I have Tomimi, the caster who does physical damage, and Folinic, the medic who doesn't reliably heal. Who do I go for next?
Have you E2d the meme god unit yet?
Conviction
. Other than that maybe Sesa or Executor and Passenger is a popular choice.

I have all of the 4* or lower units max level, (even the bad ones). Part of me wants to hit whislash next. Attack speed for block 3+ seems irrelevant outside of a few specific guards.

Seconding Whislash, even though I E2/LVL50/Moduled her for my knight squad for this event, I rarely put her on the field unless I need a body to sacrifice and Gravel is on cool down. She is a waste of a deployment slot which is unfortunate because her design is so cute.

Also Flamebringer and Tsukinogi.

Kirara is astoundingly useless. The only one in her subclass with no utility whatsoever, and she tries making up for it with DPS so low that it definitely isn't worth the tradeoff. Mentions as well to Toddifons, Franka, and Nightmare.

I finally did it, 237 rolls for 1 Nearlter. Potential 5 Flametail makes me want to scream. But at least now I am done and can start saving for my next anal probing when Ling comes along.

Me: Fuck it. Lets do another 10 pull! Cause i hate myself.

I'm gonna get hit by a bus.

Toddifons/Franka/Nightmare can at least function as basic damage dealers. Kirara can't even do that

if we're talking janky gimmicks, I'd also say Haze is a fun one.

Thoughts on Corroseum, Ashlock and Fartooth? I've E1/LVL 55 all three at minimum for the event to challenge myself, I really feel like I'm never going to use any of them ever again.

They just feel subpar at their niche, perhaps I'm using them wrong? Any one have any tips using them?

Corroseum got E2, I really wish he had a little more atk spd, because I like his S2 but something just feels weird about him.

They're all rather underwhelming. Corroseum, even when not compared to Ifrit, lacks too much in his kit to justify the deployment cost and effort to find a suitable spot for him. Ashlock is somewhat interesting to me, but there aren't many situations where her or her subclass could shine in that aren't already suited for Snipers with AoE or Lord Guards. Fartooth only usefully serves the niche of big fuck off damage to bosses with physical evade (read: there's not a lot of those). She's otherwise sorely lacking due to having too slow attack speed for mobbing unless you use S2, and a fatal lack of armor mitigation which makes her exceptionally high base attack less impactful in practice.

Not to mention, those three cost a fair bit of DP so I can't even see them used in Integrated Strats.

Specifically in regard to Fartooth, I think she's useful. The ability to contribute damage at such extreme ranges is always useful, and her kit is very internally synergistic in that regard. Especially with her module, the ability to attack outside of her attack range is not minor. Her attack is actually high enough that her damage is still usually comparable to a caster. 2400 attack minus 800 is still 1600. She's skill dependent, but those skills have extremely high uptime. If you play to her strengths, she can be extremely potent. Ambriel is significantly weaker, and is still commonly the backbone of my teams.

All that's left is the desk stuff and event done. Bought the 6 star pack for Mountain so now I'm good to go and gather as many pulls as i can so i hopefully pull Nian in Lings banner and that will finish my limited collection.
Hope everyone got what they wanted and got the new S stages done. Have fun grinding red certs for those new OPs.
Edit: Mountain is a beast. Not regretting the purchase. Gonna be real useful in the next CC after rest week.

I finished most of the stages using 2/3 defenders and a whole lot of casters and healers. Most of the enemies this event have low arts def but have like 1 or 2 range or quick deploy ops to take care of the ones that aren't. So basically 2 def 2 heal 3 casters 2 support 1 ranger 1 arts guard and a specialist will get you trough most of the event and for EX stages remember to use suppot unit if you feel like your ops arent strong enough.

This is an event that favors arts guards and aggressive positioning. Unless you're dealing with one of the recidivists, I recommend playing extremely aggressively. Recidivists are best dealt with using some CC casters. I dealt with them using a combination of click and podenco.

Yeah wtf.

I auto'd through all the stages from the OG runs I had but when I was setting up MB-8 for trust farming I was surprised I struggled like I did. Got it going and the boss is a push over now that I just let him walk around and do his thing until the last box. I just do not remember finding this event difficult at all the first time around.

So thankful to have a rerun event and then CC so I can rebuild my reserves for the Silverash Family event and Ling.

ETA: Is there a viable way to use Robin? I E2'd her because I really like her new skin and thought she seemed interesting to use, but she seems kind of useless? Her traps are really lacking in damage or am I just tard?
