A bit late, but I figured this belongs in the thread. For those not in the know, A spin-off titled Arknights: Endfield is in development.

Not a lot of information outside of 2 videos and a site full of flavor text. Nice to see them doing full 3D, at least. Hopefully we get to peek at combat and other mechanics soon.
The preview has me a tad scared it's going to be Genshin/Honkai style game play.

I do enjoy Arknights primarily as it is more puzzle/problem solving based. Character designs look awesome as per usual.

Picked up Toddifons from the latest banner. Liking the art and the attack range; I have an irrational love for snipers with huge attack zones like Rosa. Unfortunately I just E2'd Mostima so I'm broke.

There goes my luck for the next limited banner.

3rd Anni stream was so packed with reveals I really don't know what to get excited about.

Capcom collab has me terrified though, I am hoping with all my might it's MonHun and we get monster themed Operators, but I know in my heart it will be something gay like Megaman.

I will begrudgingly accept DMC or RE with out complaint.

I come here today with a controversial opinion. Arknights has too much new stuff. Getting burned out just thinking about whats coming up. We need like a month or 2 of repeat events.

Personally, I'd kill for more new 4*s. I think it might just be something that's a problem for people with more of the completionist bend. I'd almost recommend that most players should drop 6*s out of hand at this point. With the exception of contingency contracts, they're just too strong as a baseline. The game is well balanced with 5*s, and brutally hard with lower rarity. Start fishing for those, and it might be more enjoyable, at least from a gameplay standpoint. You raise more and get more critical thinking out of any given level. Also, at the rate they release 5*s, you can absolutely get all of them even on free to play rates.

Funny thing is i probably have more of the 6 stars than i have the 5 stars. Yea i do have the desire for 100% but I've mostly quelled that cause I'm never gonna have Nian. What bothers me is the constant new new new and the need to prep for everything. Figuring out what ops are good for the future events and then getting them up to snuff before hand is a constant grind. Also I would like some off time to just do old stages in new ways or have time to finally finish those challenge mode stages I just don't have the time and sanity for. Not to mention doing some trust farming and the paradox stages and now we have the modules that need their own challenges done and I think some reruns would do some good for everyone.
Hell even the new players could probably want the time to complete the old events for story or originum. I get friend requests form people under level 10 who just never get above that level and i always wonder why do they stop playing so fast? You see Arknights growing in popularity so I'm sure new players are gonna be coming in a steady stream so a bit of downtime to allow them to get used to the game would be good. Maybe just pick 1 month and make it a yearly downtime where 2 events get added to the recollection.

Well I'm done. Also if you don't use the Nighttime background with the Vigilo track you're a lunatic. Though i do accept the snow one as well.
Edit: I have this weird luck where i get the limited but not the other 6 star on the banner. Happened like 3 times in a row now.

No dice on Radiant Nearl, did pick up Corroserum who looks like a debuff version of Ifrit.

Lot of good outfit choices this time too.

So much good artwork in this event. I've got wallpapers for months.
Edit: Wonder if it's worth spending 30 quid to buy the 6 star pack for Mountain?

On 140 pulls and no Nearl in sight, meanwhile a friend of mine pot6'd her in under 300 rolls. No I'm not seething.

About people saying to drop 6*, I usually like to run themed teams for events to make things fun and make me use my whole roster, for example only use OPs who appear in the story of the event or chapter.

Kazimierz lack of casters and support options is really making things challenging right now but I'm having fun. :)

Just shy of 200 rolls now, 3 Flametail and 1 Passenger later, still Nearless, it's not looking good bros. The most unlucky I have ever been in this game. :(

The event has been fun so far, working as hard as I can to level up whatever knight characters I can to at least take advantage of Flametail's passive for when the EX stages open up, 22 percent dodge on everyone could be interesting.

Did a last 10 pull. No Flametail so i guess i gotta hope to get her on another banner or on a free pull. Did get another nearl tho and pot 6 lappland. New annihilation stage is cancer. Dreading the second coming of blood knight in a few days. Well i hope the best of luck to everyone with pulls if you're gonna do more.

I need suggestions, guys. I've been raising bad units for a while now. So far, I have Tomimi, the caster who does physical damage, and Folinic, the medic who doesn't reliably heal. Who do I go for next?
