I used her a lot early on because she was the first ranged guard I got, but yeah, once you get SA, Lappland, or Thorns there's really no reason to bring her along.

i mean even arene's probably better bc drone-oriented and has arts damage.

I will say that I don't know why the fuck you'd use Ayerscarpe unless you really liked him.
 
Cuora, Click and Rope E2, Mousse, Cutter and Utage E1. Kinda just aimlessly upgrading low level ops for the future rougelike event.

Interesting to compare almost a years worth of growth. Also cause you lot seem to actually know how to play this game any advice on how to improve this roster?

Unironically build whoever you think is fun and useful overall. Healing Defenders and Jaye are handy to build.

Arene, Beanstalk, Bubble, Jaye, Cutter, and Utage are fine e2 candidates and cheap. Podenco's a good one too.

For your 5 stars, there's a few fun options.

Bena's a unique unit and pretty decent. She's guaranteed to survive any one hit. Tequila's just a sorta mini-silverash in terms of damage. Shamare's the best debuffer/buffer in the game that isn't limited. Whisperain, April, Blitz, Broca, Manticore, Robin/Frost, Bibeak, Glaucus, Scene, Kafka, Beeswax, Mint, Asbestos, Heavyrain, Pramanix, Astesia, Zima, Absinthe, Warfarin, Silence, Liskarm, Reed, Blue Poison, Platinum, Leonhardt, and Nearl are all good 5 stars to e2. I'd say prioritize who you *want* to be using that gets the biggest bump from e2.

The whole time i've been playing my method has been build who i need. So i play a level and see i need a defender i build a defender and so on. Gonna go for those cheap E2s. Also Shamare and Tequila. Thanks mate.

I'd recommend Warfarin too because of the s2 attack buff.

Beeswax gets a lot of use as a tank and Broca's just an AoE guard with the option to do arts damage with s1 or be a mini-surtr with s2.
 
Goals - gotta unlock the last carbon mission tomorrow so I can upgrade my factory to 3 for the pack items.
been leveling all the skills on characters I use and working on 400/400 lungmen outskirts, mudrock hasn't been that useful there so switched to cuora

Mudrock usually relies on Bagpipe+Myrtle/Elysium pumping DP out fast tbh.

but unless you have her really invested, she isn't exactly that brainless. Cuora's a good call. I'd have recommended Bubble for the taunt and dmg reflect

oh I just meant she can't keep up with the red katana dudes since the self heal isn't enough atm
and using cuora opens me up to use medics while my dps blast stuff away

I just haven't felt the need to replace lava, she seems to get the job done really well, I have gitano and some others but lava just does what I need her to do

I'll upgrade her when that 5 star Lava comes back, I like that design

tbh i'd recommend gitano bc she's able to do some low-rarity clears just bc of her s2 range.
 
Never really use AOE casters myself but it is handy to have at least 1 around just in case. Lava and 12F gets stuff done for most levels but you might get one of them 6stars and the DP cost between them and Gitano is negligible. I would say wait until you really need a AOE caster stronger than Lava to build a stronger one.

yeah but promoting a 4 star to e2 is like a third of the resources needed to promote a 6 star to e2, not counting the chips+catalysts.

I will say Gitano's talent is memey RNG fun with any of 3 permanent buffs added each first deployment. Plus her s2 just smacks dudes in a 3x4 range. It's a shame she's stunned tho.
 
I'm very excited for the upcoming 4*s. They're weird and gimmicky. Pudding especially looks like the kind of weirdly situational dps I live for.
