While I wouldn't doubt that other family members were not amused, Jonbenet's mother died of ovarian cancer in 2006.

If only Dan would take the wheel - as it were - and play the Zelda games he hasn't played, himself (case in point - he'd admitted he's never played Twilight Princess).

It's always more entertaining to watch/listen to Dan play a game he hasn't played before - as he always seems to be genuinely enjoying himself/falling in love with the game, in the process - instead of having him sitting off to the side and suppressing barely contained annoyance/boredom as Arin craps all over he game he's already played and has a negative biased towards - ruining whatever little enjoyment Dan gets from watching the game unfold.

Probably easiest settings (so easy, quick XP progression to 50, +Sword, -Wand or something so he can just mash his way through) and someone with an FAQ sitting right next to him. It's gonna be shit, but hey it's for charity. He hasn't mentioned which charity though so maybe it's something funny like TLL.

TL;DR: Guy scammed buncha people by making them donate to his gofundme for his fake lethal cancer. Managed to guilt GG into giving a shoutout, resulting in him receiving even more donation funds toward the scam.

Arin I don't think ever hid the fact he wanted to be famous. He was on some Sony run game show called The Play Tester or some shit. He said right up front he wanted to be famous. If he had just kept animating and making Sequelitis he'd be five times more famous than he is as a Let's Player.
Danny just isn't as funny to me and I think his music is awful. In the running for least funny jew.

What was the last Game Grump play through you actually enjoyed? Right now my favorite part of the channel is the animations because I love animation. The last play through I liked was probably Ocarina of Time but I ground my teeth for like 20 episodes because of those fucking Hoover Boots.

The last time I saw the Grumps they were destroying Demo Disks for Funhaus.

All Sequelitis did was show everyone that he knows jack shit about game design and that he's a whiny entitled bitch who thinks anything that doesn't cater to him specifically is objectively bad. And his animations are unfunny piles of shit. He was going to be an infamous lolcow either way, even if he didn't do let's plays. He'd still be a pretentious delusional cringelord. He'd just be even more pretentious about his shitty animations and mediocre parody songs instead of claiming to be some sort of gaming god and the master of game design.

I never got how people took his Sequelitis shit seriously. His MegaManX video is just bitching about how he doesn't like having his hand held. Meanwhile, every Grump video that's more complex than moving in a straight line is him sperging the fuck out. Maybe he should stick to walking simulators.

I think it's the Castlevania 2 one that really spoke to me at the time. I will say AVGN really covered most of these complaints, but Arin went over some stuff like the button delay, stage layout and the color palettes I felt was some 'smart' insight. I did disagree about the later Metroidvanias being rehashing of CV2, they have totally different challenges and tones.

If he had kept going with them who knows if they could have gotten better or worse..He just got lazy.
