I be funny and delve as little as possible in socially irrelevant stuff to them. Can seem insincere at first but once they grow to like you can open up your tism. If they don't, continue being a charm to be with. Girls like having fun.

I wrote a poem for my wife as a Mother's day gift this year. She loved it. I've written poems for a few girls. It only works if you are already in a committed relationship though. If you write a poem for a girl you aren't already screwing regularly you are a big fat RETARD who will just look like a creep. Timing and context is very important!

I wouldn't mind it if it was funny and cute if it we were at least talking. It would be weird if it was some deeply heartwrenching emotional thing or some thinly veiled coombrained thing that early on.

Not really, but I romanticize archaic notions of romance, stuff that would make you seem autistic and weird these days if you tried it, where being cool and suave is the modern substitute for romance. You know, doing cringe shit like kissing a woman's hand as if you're some fucking count or something :story:

It's barely a step above the neckbeard m'lady fedora tipping :neckbeard:

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
I wanna fuck YOUUUUUU.

I am not romantic, I do not fall in love with women. Their personalities and interests repulse me. The only value they have to offer me are the myriad of ways they can jerk off my penis using their bodies.

This is true for the majority of cases. Poems are extremely delicate, in that they can make a woman swoon or cringe 'til her skin turns inside out. You'll have a hard time making yourself appear respectable and manly to her again if you screw it up.

I got really lucky. My husband had an itty bit of renown on a website for his storytelling and poetry. It was what made me gravitate toward him before we ever met in person. Years of unrealized feelings later, we reconnected and he quickly began writing poems about me and posting them. It was kind of funny seeing all of his female fans vanish shortly afterward.

He's such an intelligent guy, total wordsmith. I think if the guy has a notable degree of intelligence he can pull off poems in the early stages of romantic feelings. Now, he was a dedicated writer, so it was expected he'd profess his love through literature. If a guy doesn't normally write and he attempts the poem route just because of its supposed effectiveness, he runs a great risk of turning her off.

He actually hadn't written me a poem since he proposed, but this year for our anniversary, he surprised me with a new one. It was lovely. It talked about our baby and such 🕊️
