Maybe we shouldn't strive to be less awkward, but instead more accepting of our awkwardness, and as an extension, more accepting of other people's awkwardness as well. For why should we care what others think of our eccentricities, and minor mistakes? As long as we are principled individuals, who care only to do good in this world, then why should it matter that our more trivial interactions exhibit a sort of social clumsiness. Perhaps even, the reality of a person's sentiment of our actions, is nowhere near as harsh as we assume it to be in our heads, and is perceived only as such because we think so harshly of ourselves.only with people i don't know
