You do realize that literally anything and everything is a fetish to somebody right?
Obviously but I mean it's a common sentiment that tomboys = porn, and I'm just curious how that came to be. I've been on porn sites and I don't even remember that being a genre, let alone so common that it's becoming synonymous with porn usage.

I really am genuinely wondering though
It’s kind of porny thinking to describe adult women in terms of superficial, neatly packaged, easily searchable categories. And high school archetypes at that (see also: goth girl). Porn addict is a little much but I see how they got there.

Tomboys were female children who preferred/lean towards male activities and styles, any adult woman calling herself a tomboy in the modern day is a pretentious "pick me" girl. The women who dressed like men wearing baseball caps and often pursued male dominated spaces were often giga-hoes with severe daddy issues ie before the internet and popculture took notice now it's just regular hoes with daddy issues.

Ah, Simpsons, I saw that there too.

But men still use terms like jock and nerd for men, those are "superficial, neatly packaged, easily searchable categories" too, and are/were common in school as well, but you don't see people correlating them with porn. It just seems like society putting women on a pedestal yet again because it doesn't go both ways, "don't put labels on women, but it's ok for men".
