Fuuuuuck......not even a pooner deserves locked-in syndrome. Talk about an utter nightmare scenario. And I wonder how many cases of this condition were missed, and living people were pronounced brain-dead and essentially murdered and possibly autopsied while still alive and watching/feeling it happen? :cryblood:😧☠️

There's a Stephen King short story in the collection "Everything's Eventual" that is from the POV of a golfer bitten by a snake that gave him this condition dropping all his vitals to the point everyone thought he was dead and was on the goddamn autopsy table listening to the tech and doctor fucking around, the rectal probe to get his 'corpse's' temp before the cutting etc.

This story disturbed the fuck out of me, and I am not easily disturbed.
 
I would check myself but don't remember the name. That girl who was picking her leg so bad it had to be amputated. What happened with her? I know she had a thread here.
 
Lava legs Kelly Ronahan. She picked her legs to stumps, last I heard she picked the stumps, and then her sister (I think) took her off the internet.
I wouldn't be surprised if she has either kept picking and is now a nugget, or is committed to an insane asylum where she belongs.

Anywho, look what I found when searching for old Lava Legs (linky). It appears that she has picked herself to death. I shall do some more digging when I have had some slumber.

I have just searched for hours and cannot find any definitive confirmation of her death. Couldn't even find anything beyond slight rumours.
Will love to see what you come up with. She appears to have dissapeared from the internet.

This appears to be a Brazilian-hosted AI slop website built on a e-mail marketing framework that farms clicks by injecting “USA TODAY” and “CBS News” in the content. Gonna press X to doubt on this one.
