Yes, they exist and I am just as shocked as any of you when I encounter them.

It messes with your mind a bit to encounter a walking stereotype of a gay man who is actually completely and totally straight.

They exist and I have seen a couple
what's even more surprising is seeing the inverse: a man who gives off absolutely zero hints of homosexuality yet who turns out to be gay
to clarify, when I say zero I don't mean non-flamers (because even they have some signs), I mean people who you would not suspect at all

Dana Carvey used to play Lyle, the Effeminate Heterosexual on SNL.

I've met a few. One of them was also taking spironolactone (liver failure) and had facial softening a troon would be jealous of, which made it even more pronounced.

I've known a couple and in my experience they're usually just shut-in slightly socially retarded nerds. like maybe it's an autism thing or whatever, and tbh the cultural insistence that flamers are the only men allowed to act effeminate is dumb to me, gay dudes acting like queens make me want to fucking hurl. there's something fundamentally insincere and LARPy about a queen, like it's some kind of absurd act they're putting on to signal to other gay dudes, and I find it seriously offputting. like I've been around flaming gay dudes and it takes conscious effort to hold a normal conversation with somebody who's going OH MAI GAWWWWD SAAAAAAYYYY BITCH!!! whereas the effeminate straight guys I've known are a little embarassing but also innocent and wholesome

I went to school with one. He talks like a fag, but he's just as redneck as everyone else in this town. Has a litter with a "UWU I'm a lady so I nurse."

effeminate in what way? gay lisp, fashion obsessed, that kind of shit? or do you just mean calm and quiet men who don't engage in macho man stereotype behavior?
There was a lot of queer-baiting complete heterosexual stuff in the 90s.
A lot of people thought it was about faggy shit, but it was not. These were dudes that were fucking true&honest women and their art was basically an expression of their romantic love and pining for the opposite sex, not some gay lunacy.
But, as usual, fags will be fags and read into tomboys and androgynous stuff, as expected from degenerates.

My old supervisor at my job was like this. Everyone thought he was gay for the longest time, and all his talk about being married and having a wife was just cope until he showed up at a company gathering with her. Some of us still think he is just closeted though because he checks off all the effeminate fairy stereotypes: talks like Jack from Will and Grace, very submissive and passive personality, will compliment male co-workers on their looks if they change something (told me I looked incredible after just getting a haircut), has very feminine interests.

I suppose its possible for a straight guy to be this girly, but you're not fooling anyone but yourself.
