no hour-long videos unless they're documentaries about actually relevant things like tikhistory (fuck off with true crime and essays about video games that are as concise as stephen king novels)
i don't want to create an account and spend a month clicking "don't recommend me things like this" on the latest ATHEIST GETS OWNED videos or soulless mrbeast stunts

A few Youtubers I actually enjoy watching:
Squirreltactics: makes 10-15 minute long vids about random King of the Hill characters. Surprisingly interesting.

Isaac Arthur: makes hour long videos discussing various futurism/science fiction concepts. He does have a modest lisp, but you get used to it.

FutureCanoe: Actually funny, and the least pretentious cooking channel I've found. Short vids.

The Why Files: vids on cryptids, ufos, ghosts, etc. Fairly skeptical, usually.

Oliver Harper: interesting, very detailed retrospectives of films from my childhood.

Advoko MAKES: Russian lawyer who spends each summer in the woods building crazy stuff with a chainsaw.

First of all pbs space time is at least 50% better than eons.

"Your dinosaurs are wrong" is good, I am not super into dinosaurs but the guy goes IN DEPTH with dinosaur physiology

ChaseTheBro is a dark souls/elden ring youtuber I quite enjoy. He consistently uploads, is very positive and is damn good at the games. Granted I only really watch youtube before I go to bed nowawadays so joyful skilled gamer's are really the only content I watch nowadays.

Atomic Shrimp is the best Eccentric Uncle Simulator. You never know if he's going to put on a full scambaiting production, show you a weird bug or some fossils he found at the beach, try a recipe that he read online and doesn't have all the ingredients for, take you berry picking, or build a scientific tool to assess hot dogs' wobbliness.
