They are right about many things but for the wrong reasons and with the worst 'solutions'. They are right to hate cops but their solution is to just not have cops or cut their funding instead of resolving any actual issues with American policing.

But Republicans are the same too they're both completely hopelessly retarded occasionally they latch onto real issues and ensure they will never be resolved with autistic rhetoric

I've heard all about the "defund the police" thing and yet to this day I still see local police departments with military gear and vehicles. To me that was the thing that needed to go, because the police are not military and do not need to do the job of the National Guard.

They're right to reject the just world hypothesis that's implicit in a dismaying amount of conservative thought.

But their "cure" is infinitely worse than the disease.

The reason they have that is because of two events one the Miami dade shooting and the other the north Hollywood bank robbery. those were the two big events that led to police being militarized. But I also agree I do miss cops mostly walking around with only a revolver and dress clothes.

I have less of an issue with the equipment and more of an issue with the fact you cant civil sue them and that they don't actually know any of the laws they are supposed to enforce.
