Coyotes are beautiful creatures who have completely different pack dynamics from wolves, often hunting alone, and packs being loosely formed of single nuclear families, instead of the rigorously structured more multigenerational packs that wolves have. They are also interbred with wolves here, in the east. Pretty babies. Except during denning season. You really don't want to mess with coyotes in the early spring.
