I know we got some fighting game enthusiasts on the Farms, so chances are, some of you have an arcade stick or two.

I will admit that I used to sperg out over arcade sticks over a decade ago. One of my first sticks was the Hori Real Arcade Pro for the PS2. It was then I learned about the various companies who produced arcade parts, and it took a step further by importing joysticks + buttons from Japan to build my own arcade sticks.

I built my very first arcade stick out of a VCR. Used a Sanwa JLF and a set of OBSF buttons, and a PCB from a spare 360 Madcatz controller. Soon after when I got a job, I started buying expensive pre-built arcade sticks from Madcatz and Hori.

Here is my current arcade stick:

I thought about getting an arcade stick, but I've ultimately decided against until I get a working J-360 (and that's assuming I'm not a poorfag and/or everything isn't ported to Steam in short order anyway).

I had (still do somewhere) that early Hori PSX stick they sold in the USA for Tekken, really nice one. Got it used at an EBstop for a couple of bucks, great stick.

Also I got one that was two full PSX sticks on a panel about as big as a full arcade machine front panel. A little wobbly but good for emulating where there's already a bit of a disconnect. Got it for about ten bucks so not a big loss that it wasn't Tourney Caliber or whatever.

I kinda do wanna get an arcade stick because it reminds me of my days playing fighting games in the arcade, but I'm a scrublord that prefers using a controller.

favorite stick, no lie, is the one that i got for buying special edition sf4 back in 2008. the white one thats about 3/4th the size of standard.

literally all the paint is gone and it's a steel box with buttons, but the stock parts are really nice. madcatz hardware and springy sanwa buttons. if it was a little better (and less junked over the past 8 years) it'd be perfect.

I have a 360 stick, Hori Real Arcade Pro VX SA Kai, but I need a converter to use it on PS4 for Guilty Gear and KoF14 because fuck buying an entirely new one.
