Apple keyboard refuses to acknowledge the word “Christian” apparently.

Do you have it set to a non-English language? Mine supports all those words, though it did favour müsli over Muslim for some reason.
 
Nope normal English, no idea how you got the based apple keyboard installed.

Interestingly I tried it in French and it worked fine?

It's like that with a lot of proper nouns. You'll have to type it out and then press the version in quotes to add it to your dictionary.

Funnily enough, if you use the functionality to trace through the letters on the keyboard (as opposed to tapping them individually), Apple's predictive text engine will guess "Christian"

What's crazy is that Apple has been doing great sales and revenue wise specifically because their AI push has been so tepid. There's a coup happening because the shareholders need Apple to subsidize their bad investments.

After nearly 30 years as a loyal customer, authoring technical books on Apple’s own programming languages (Objective-C and Swift), and spending tens upon tens upon tens of thousands of dollars on devices, apps, conferences, and services, I have been locked out of my personal and professional digital life with no explanation and no recourse.

The Damage: I effectively have over $30,000 worth of previously-active “bricked" hardware. My iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Macs cannot sync, update, or function properly. I have lost access to thousands of dollars in purchased software and media.

This is in reference to Framework laptops, which he had earlier considered as an alternative to Macs, before learning of their political impurity:

For those not knowing what this is about, Framework has engaged with the open-source Linux world by offering funding to many projects. As a result, a cancel mob has come after them for two offenses: (a) funding the Hyprland window manager, whose author years ago participated in troon-mocking banter (which he since put a stop to), and (b) giving attention to the Linux distro Omarchy, and possibly providing them a laptop to test on, when the author of said distro has expressed some right-wing views on immigration and troons. This minimal indirect relationship is enough for the good Dr. Paris to call Framework Nazis.

The irony of condeming and cancelling for a flimsy connection is lost on him.

To be clear: None of this changes the fact that Apple's behavior is completely outrageous.
