You shouldn't ignore people but I do advise using ublock to block certain users' avatars.

Like for example I have @RotPockets pfp blocked, and I also recently blocked the pfp of @AgendaPoster. I'm assuming he still has a gif of that disgusting looking sweaty european guy spitting on his hand and rubbing it on his dick, to me it just looks like this:
