Except a lot has changed between the 1970's and 2020

If this coup fails and Trump ends up with a second term, I think he and Barr will use that DOJ nuclear option they set up at the start of this just to make sure we don't get a repeat of Bill Ayres and the 70's leftists.

I do find it funny that we didn't see the simultaneous corporate media backing of BLM until after Antifa was designated as a global terrorist movement under the Patriot Act. And that it largely happened within 24 hours of the DOJ announcing this to the public.

They always have bad haircuts and beards. I still don't get this.

At this point, if I see a guy under the age of 50 who has a beard, I usually get a sense of revulsion unless I know them personally. Especially if they also have the ugly glasses or do that awful open mouth soylent grin.

Millennials and Zoomers, here's a bit of advice. Shave your goddamn fucking beard.

Unless you're a Civil War army officer, an ancient Celtic Druid, a Greek philosopher from the Classical Era, or a Jedi Master, beards look ugly and unappealing. Until you're old enough to get Social Security retirement checks, go clean shaven at all times.

I have a beard and people say they like it (emphasis on "they say"). But I also know better than to wear my glasses out in public while I have it. I hear you on the numale smile; Beards + glasses deserve to be met with fists.

It's probably just my own vanity, but TBH when I look at pics of myself from a few years ago where I'm shaven, I kinda look like a fag.
 
The only other exception I can think of where the beard and glasses look would be somewhat acceptable would be if the beard was a well-maintained goatee and a respectable haircut if only for the sole fact that I could then imagine them as Gordon Freeman

100% agree. I've seen it mentioned I think in the US riots thread that growing a beard lets these losers cosplay as if they're some sort of wise elder or Greek philosopher (Sitting around all day and pontificating on things you know jack shit about does sound pretty beta and like Classical Greek Twitter) dispensing wisdom to the unwashed masses. I'm in my mid 30's and I hate seeing grey in my beard so it's always cleanshaven for me as well, so I find it puzzling when I see younger guys not feeling the same way and going for hobo chic.

Also notice how they never grow a mustache; no biker gang choppers or 70's cop mustaches for them.
 
You are way overthinking this beard thing.

They're lazy. Shaving every day takes more effort than running clippers over a beard once a month. It's that simple.
