In theory if one pulls a vordrak and ring up payment processors to get them to drop individual organizations and individual people affiliated with antifa, that is one of the magic words from an authority in the government that a processor would need to drop them.

It's omega faggot level but that's pretty much the extent of what it could do imo.

That's what's kind of frustrating about it.

They would once the government starts invoking that terrorist designation.

Otherwise, payment processors could be held liable if they provide financial support for terrorists and groups affiliated with them.

The guys at PayPal and MasterCard may kneel before the SPLC, but the threat of federal prison for aiding and abetting terrorism trumps the threat of the SPLC calling them racists and putting the payment processors on their hate group list.
 
Has the declaration of Antifa as a terrorist org had any tangible effect yet? I'm growing tired of the chaos.

Hard to say. They've only officially been on the job for a few weeks, and I doubt the government would be too terribly forthcoming about plans to take out terrorist cells or foil terrorist plots before they do it. So, they might be doing nothing, or they might be doing something and just not making it public yet.

Honestly, I think it's the latter.

@It's HK-47 posted a bunch of links a few days ago that showed the Feds were arresting various suspected Antifa and BLM big shots, and I'm sure the number has increased, but they're also trying to keep it low profile as much as legally possible too

Now that the riots are starting to peter outside of a few key big city hot spots, I think we might see more indictments and arrests show up on the radar throughout the summer, and it's possible we could see something more high-profile in the fall as we get closer to the election.

They'll drop a couple of Antifa groups so they can look "unbiased", like when Twitter occasionally gives out suspensions and bans to a minority of the people screaming KILL ALL WHITE MEN/DIE CIS SCUM while anyone saying KILL ALL BLACKS or DIE TRANS SCUM is autobanned.
 
Wow, I was perusing cracked.com after having not been there in ages and they published an article using the 'you can't declare them terrorists because they're not an organized group' argument. Also, Orange Man bad of course. The website is full of woke articles now instead of, you know, humor.
 
Wonder if most of Antifa knows that their group is using old communist Germany ideologies.

Yeah, they're the ones that simp for communism and anarchism, and while they say the USSR was state capitalism or fascism, they'll immediately turn to praising the USSR when their fellow communists are around.
