You know, you can't talk about anthro games without mentioning the venerable fenoxo, famed creator of cult classics such as "corruption of champions" and "trials in tainted space", old flash versions of which can be found scattered across the vast graveyards of ye olde furrenet. Their latest work, "Corruption of Champions II", is currently available for purchase on steam at quite a reasonable price! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1292690/Corruption_of_Champions_II/
I remember there was some flash beat-em-up back in the day where you were a skunk lady, karate-fighting your way, the boss was a huge deagon lady? Anyone remember that?

I frigging hated how much he forced in his bimbo horsecock hermaphrodite fetish everywhere in Corruption of Champions. It felt like everywhere you went there was a furry with a valley girl accent swinging their dick around, and if there wasn’t there was an option instead to turn a character into one.
Tail Concerto? It was fun and cute and when it came out I had zero knowledge of furries and just thought it was a cute game about cartoon animals and the rivalry between cats and dogs. I had no idea it was beloved of furfags who probably want to stick Panta up their asses or whatever.
I decided to download it the other day and started playing it through. It has a lot of the usual 3d PS1 game issues, but it's playable and pretty fun when you get used to the wonky control scheme. So far gameplay wise I'm reminded of Ape Escape.
Cute game, story, and animation with English voice acting that isn't the worst.
Imagine trying to release a game in 2024 where you play as a police dog going after the "Black cats" gang lol.
Speaking of furry games, I am contractually obligated to mention the following:
WONDER BOY III – THE DRAGON’S TRAP
This game is the shit! Following the last game’s ending, you are raiding the MEKA dragon’s lair in order to kill him/ However, in his demise, he curses you into LIZARD-MAN (as pictured in this box art). Your quest is to find a way to remove this curse, by defeating the multiple dragons and abusing the following cursed forms powers:
LIZARD-MAN
MOUSE-MAN
PIRANHA-MAN
LION-MAN
HAWK-MAN
And of course,,,
HU-MAN
DRAGON’S CURSE / ADVENTURE ISLAND
This SEGA/Westone classic plays pretty much like Zelda II. You roam around levels to find secrets and dungeons. Each time you defeat a dragon, you get a new transformation, with each one giving you certain powers. Lizard can shoot fire, mouse can stick on walls, hawk man can fly and such. You can find extra items such as gold, potions, gear and extra life, and there’s a few hidden rooms where you can switch between all your forms.
WONDER BOY – THE DRAGON’S TRAP
The original game was released in 1989, and it’s still beloved by many. It surprisngly got a port for the Turbografx-16 and PC Engine (where it was known as Adventure Island), but was nowhere seen on Nintendo hardware.
However in 2017, Frenchmen developers Lizardcube released a full blown remake, which added hand-drawn graphics and REAL music. It plays pretty much as you’d expect for a retro game. Of course you can toggle between the OG and NEW graphics/OST on a whim, they did add a few extra contents, such as extra dungeon trials and HU-GIRL (whaaaaaat??!?!11)
WONDER BOY!!!!!!
I like this game, is pretty good. It might be a bit cryptic at times, but retro game fans should definitely try out this game at least once in their life.

I think i've heard of that game before, it was probably mentioned in the Adult Games thread. And what you said was a common complaint, the game was too fucking degenerate even for your average coomer, like holy hell, you have to be in a league of your own when a lot of coomers willing to support you in Patreon are feeling disgusted by the game you made.

I played that too and I don't really like it.
The Wonder boy series is quite interesting tho, the first game is pretty much an arcade version of adventure island, the second, wonder boy in moster land, is a challenging game that I like to re-play every now and then, since it feels good to be able to 1cc it.
Interestingly, this game has 2 direct sequels: monster lair, the arcade one, is more similar to the first one, so it's an auto runner where you need to collect food to keep moving on, but at least you're given different weapons, enemy variety between zones and the boss nog only are challenging but are a fun horizontal scrooling shooting session; meanwhile the sega port of monster land had dragon trap as its direct sequel, which is a fine metroidvania, I guess, but enemies and boss feels retarded when compared to the previous title, in term of moveset.
The remake is quite decent at its job, but like with Demon Souls on ps5 it's quote uncanny to fight the remade bosses with the epic remixes, only for them to have a retard moveset and AI.
Oh yeah, I really love that game too. Sadly I only have the PC Engine version (Bikkuriman World) which replaces the animal NPCs with Japanese chocolate mascots and removed one whole boss (the laser throwing pig).

The laser pig fight can derail easily if you don't play aggressive, it's udnerstandeable that they had it removed.
That game aged so much better than dragon trap...

I favor Monster Land (and WB1 tbqh), but as for Dragon's Trap, you have to give some credit for the fact that they did a basically 1:1 remake without it being impenetrable to modern gamers. That wouldn't fly with e.g. Metroid, or many other Metroidvanias or action adventure games from the 1980s. I think it aged pretty gracefully, overall.

I don't hate what the remake did, I adore the art direction and the ability to swap to original graphics, but It made me feel like game itself was too simple for the team remaking it, especially when it comes to bosses and enemies in general being complete pushovers.
That aside, I saw 3 similar remakes of old games that aren't as good in my opinion: Toki is probably the best one, a remake of a linear arcade platform game, its difficulty is slightly toned down but I still fear it's enough to bring less players into trying to reach the ending, but the animation work and soundtrack are simply amazing; then there is the Alex kidd remake, which suffers the same problem of dragon trap, except the graphics aren't as good as the aformentioned game (in my opinion at least); finally the joe & mac remake... The new animation is garbage, it lacks the charm of the arcade game and even some animations like the protagonists screaming when bosses are introduced.
Picked up "Little Kitty, Big City" and it's adorable.
Game play summary? You get to be a cat and you can do all kinds of cat things. The game probably needs some more polish from the developer, but it's not broken. My main issue with it is that the camera is kind of wonky, if they improve anything that needs to be #1 on their list.
Some time ago I bought Fuga: Melodies of Steel, since the design looked nice and it sounded cool to pilot a tank.
Played a few hours and never touched it. Something felt very creepy with the character being all 4-10 year olds completely alone without any older figure. There isn't anything outwardly fetish-y about it, but it was less Miyazaki and more furry folder.
Currently stuck in development hell and will probably never come out. Chinamen may have run away with all the Kickstarter money. The playable demo is pretty fun and unlike most China games they actually spent money on localization.
