Fantano put Kid Rock and Tom McDonald's albums on his Worst List to the surprise of no one. Hearing him going on about how McDonald's music is full of fallacies was pretty humorous.

Kid Rock actually has the luxury of making bad albums because he doesn’t apologize for who he is, even if Fantano is only judging the music based on his political affiliations. Plus. if I recall, Tom McDonald was at one point censored by his own label for putting out music that actually criticized and chastised people for having ”white guilt” for daring to say that all white rappers are not good.

The fact that Tom was actually pulled off from his label, even if his music gets labeled cringeworthy, is a lot more bold from him that whatever Worst Music List Fantano has to put out regularly.

I think the main takeaway from the last 10 years of the internet is if there are people who are super autistic and forceful publicly on a successful platform about how pro-freedom they are, they're just an insecure selfish faggot trying to make a buck. If they are that same faggot now patting themselves on the back at taking to task every slight against modern corporate clown-world taste, they're just trying to make another buck and they should be publicly euthanized.
However if you're just a dude who likes to say gamer words and enjoy decent comedy now and then and don't feel the need to make 30 minute videos talking about your love for the word nigger or going out of your way to hang out with edgelords, odds are you're not going to a complete waste of a human being five years from now.

Tom MacDonald's music sucks the fattest of ass, but Fantano saying "if you look like this, you'll love this album" is prejudice by definition. It's unbelievable that there was no sort of "oh wait" moment on his part.

I was wondering that too, and I can't find a decent explanation. According to this random magazine I found, it was the album being two hours long which made them cut it to four discs, with them not wanting one disc to have less on one side then the other, so they cut at 45rpm to make the LP look prettier.
Ironically, a lot of ultra high-end record labels cut albums at 45rpm due to the faster speeds giving improved fidelity (more high-frequencies iirc.)
Surprised they didn't advertise that fact.
 
I haven't asked this. But does he even have a metric for the music he listens to? I know music is subjective, but how does he even rate an albums' quality? Did he ever have a proper critical review of anything? Has he critiqued the bass, vocals, production, track-arrangement, FUCKING ANYTHING?
Is the only value-system for decent music for him how many niggers made it?
I'm both legitimately curious but also know the answer already.

When reviewing music becomes your full time job I'd imagine the reviews themselves become nails that need to be hammered as opposed to the neatly crafted passionate analyses he started out making. According to Google, Melon has been making music reviews professionally since 2007. That's 16 whole ass years of cramming every album he possible could to meet his quotas. I'd imagine he gave up on trying to add anything new to the conversation a long time ago.

In other words, Melon probably does have standards and opinions, but trying to express them is futile because he has to pump out multiple reviews a week. Either that or he's just a pseud hipster retard who's in too deep.

Impressive, but ai still has a bit to go if it's forgetting to put in a section where he questions why he, as a white man, should be able to properly review the album. It also didn't filter in the moment where he realizes every black he idolizes actually hates him for being a coal-burning faggot.
