Just two years ago Fagtano deleted a review of the then-new Deathspell Omega album because "ummm, I just found out that they're fascists, sweetie". The whole "right wingers can't create art" bullshit has always been obvious bunk propagated by the fact that leftists are too intolerant and hateful to be able to experience media made by people they dislike but it's even more obvious when you get to see them in real time rewrite their own opinions of music by artists whose opinions they don't like. It's mentioned in the metal-archives thread, but the opinion on bands such as Arghoslent and Grand Belial's Key have become far more sour over the years in these circles despite those bands not releasing anything new in over a decade, showing that it's not a plausible-deniability-but-you-know-it's-still-bullshit case of the band magically becoming garbage as soon as they developed political opinions that they did not approve of (which was the case with the likes of Megadeth, Iced Earth and Havok, among others) but that the quality of said musical content is in the eye of an irrational beholder. As leftists have become more stringent with what opinions they approve of, previously released music that they once were okay with have now become verboten. So it's no surprise that somebody as spineless as Fantano cannot stand behind his own praise of a "cancelled" artist and pretends that his decade-long worship of them never happened.
Anyway, I can't find Fantano's actual review of The Furnaces of Palingenesia so here's a screencap of him admitting to deleting it just because one unconfirmed member (since the entire project is anonymous), Mikko Aspa, may be an ebil neo-Nazi or something.
In short: Anthony Fantano is a cowardly cunt who cowers constantly in the shadow of that Fader article and is completely willing to throw his own convictions under the bus to placate his self-made boogeyman. He pretends to have never posted on /mu/ or palled around with Sam Hyde just so that his left-wing "friends" don't ruin his life. He will delete his own reviews and erase his own opinions to do so. And the next time that some soybeard faggot says that right-wing CHUDS can't create art, politely tell them that the worst KISS song is still better than anything the degenerate Andy Warhol-inspired faggots from the Velvet Underground ever made.
