Wow a (alleged) man who doesn't interact with anyone outside his own ideological bubble and thinks anyone who doesn't think like him are subhuman scum, believes that only his tribe can produce "good" art? I'm shocked!

But hey its not like there has been any evidence of him in the past being highly bias and super dismissive of anything that doesn't cater to his personal taste, right?

As much of a dumb and futile effort it is trying to bring up examples of whatever the hell a "conservative" artist is, its kinda funny watching others twist themselves into pretzel shapes in how "ACTUALLY this classical artist/musician/whatever was considered "progressive" in their day so that means they are on our side and would support us hedonistic liberal lifestyle! CHECKMATE conservicucks!"
I also think I seen some outright dismiss other examples because if they don't know who they are/aren't super famous.

I guess if you don't write music about how orange man bad or bitch about politics non stop on social media you arn't a real artist.
It's also super dumb because he not only accuses the right wing of being incapable of making good music, he accuses them of being uncreative wholesale.

Now admittedly. Mainstream right wing creators are fewer now because the industry has done their best the last decade to blacklist them, but Fantano shows himself to be completely ignorant to cultural history.

In all fairness though, Sam Hyde is a fat, gross, black pilled, incel breeding REEEEEEtard. They're pretty much two sides of the same coin. They should probably just go ahead and fuck.

How long have you saved this post, and how hard was it to try to bait?

Anybody who actually believes that conservatives are somehow incapable of making beautiful art is a complete moron. I'm certain that there are far, far more conservative artists/actors/musicians/etc than we know about, simply because they don't sperg out about their politics on social media. Look at how Chris Pratt got dragged through the mud for being a Christian, and maybe voting Republican. No artist with any sense will openly share their conservative views, because they know how the twitter mobs will tear them apart. They may play the part of the good, little liberal in public, but in private, and, where it matters most, the voting booth, they're conservative. Anyway, fuck Anthony Fantano

Isn't there actually like a gigantic amount of RnB and rappers that are closet conservatives? Remember hearing about that when people lost their shit over Kanye being Trumps biggest fan, and then it turned out a lot of his friends supported him in it.

Edit: Also all christian bands are probably pretty conservative. Also classical musicians are often linked to religious groups so also probably conservatives. I highly doubt Skillet votes Biden for example.

their "conservatism" doesn't really extend beyond thinking that homosexuals are disgusting

which is pretty based, black man.

I refuse to believe Fantano sincerely thinks right-wingers are incapable of making good music (not that his opinion on what counts as "good" music is worth a shit). If he does, that would just show he has no knowledge of music whatsoever, which I don't actually believe is the case. Really, he's just lying for ideological reasons because at this point he cares far more about politics than music.

If you think about it, Fantano mocking the idea that right-leaning individuals making great art from a political standpoint actually makes the “all art is political” argument moot. One does not have the all-knowing power to decide which side of the political sphere or trendiness to decide who makes better art.

It‘s all up to the consumer, and if anything, Fantano (like most hyper political types on social media) failed to make any arguments about the idea of consumerism and mass media affecting the way as to how the trends and styles of music have changed over the decades.

He comes off like he lives in constant fear of being cancelled since the Fader article. He laughed off some tweets where they suggest that with "I made a fuckton of money off it" which isn't the point. He's clearly scared of losing all the progress he's made because then he'd have to risk getting deplatformed. It doesn't help that the more sinks into politics, the more radical and puritan ideological types he'll attract that will get fucking furious if he says anything even vaguely objectionable. I think he knows that which is why he's saying shit like this to prove he's on their side, who the fuck could ever say anyone on the right can't make art? That's intrinsic to humanity. We've been making art before political structures even existed and some of the most significant pieces of art ever made, like Shakespeare or Wagner, were politically right leaning.
And frankly, it just seems like an awful way to live.

Fantano is currently on a spergbattle with "nazi queen" Lauren Southern over if conservatives make good music.

I don't know about music, but claiming conservatives are "bad" at making music or any other art for that matter is such a low IQ take, and he's so smug about it.
In response to that last screenshot

People who put their political ideology front and center and present it as their most interesting thing about themselves, IE fagtano, are not fun, creative, smart, empathetic, or interesting.

i agree 100%. all of anthony's faggoty behavior makes sense when viewed thru this lens.

he's not wrong about conservatives having shit taste, though, his only mistake was claiming it as an absolute profound truth about ART instead of just staying in his lane and dunking on country music

He's done it, he's taken another step closer to what negative xp made fun of as joke. In the words of Melon Fantano's favorite president: Sad.
