Around August/september. he filmed roland shitting in the bathroom and it was gonna be swept under the rug by sirius, until one of the interns/his producer had it with opies bullshit and tricked him into admitting on air that he did infact film roland and had infact shown the video to other people

Somehow that sounds more exceptional than anything Ant has done. At least it killed his career.

It couldn't have ended better. The best part was that the news articles, and probably the last news articles that will ever be written about Opie before his obituary, all just said he had been fired for "filming a coworker in the bathroom" with no context, so it sounded like he was just some weird poop creep.

He made the mistake of trying to interact with "fans" on reddit of all places. His mother just died and someone in the family made one of those online obituaries where you can post comments, and the same circlejerk from reddit posted awful shit on it apparently. He's not handling it well, but the guy's mother died and assholes are using that to make jokes and try to one up each other, so you can't really blame him at this point.

It's hard to ignore when people move on to attacking family and close friends because you aren't giving them the reaction they want. It's the same shit that brought this website down for awhile.

Anthony is a faggot. I’m glad he got fired for bitching about a black woman beating him up. All he did in his end career is spout off about stupid shit.

Funny how in the end Greg turned into the radio show he hated.

Why I’ll always be a R&F fan. At least with that, you had a co host break down and cry, or be silent to the point you’d have to check your radio.
 
heres the difference between fez (whomst Kevin is referring to) and Opie. Fez has spawned some of the greatest shit on his show just by being his gay insane self. Opie is a try hard who stomps on a homeless mans cake

He never really hated it, he was always just trying to impress the room he was in. Go back and listen to old Jocktobers, he would angrily just scream opinions and thoughts on how the zoo crews could 'improve' their prepburger horseshit.

Gregg never stopped being Spuds Buckley, he just knew he had to hide that shit as best he could given the company he was keeping at the time.

Ron's excellent, Fez could be alright occasionally, but that show was rough to listen to. I still listened to them for a bit after O&A went off for the day, but I wasn't disappointed at all when they started doing replays of O&A's morning show and moved Ron and Fez to a different station. Ron's quick witted and funny, a lot like Anthony in that respect, but hearing him interview some shit band from the 70's that no has heard of or cares about made me want to change the station in a hurry.

And I like Ron, I like the piss outta Ron, but their show was not good. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't something I could enjoy regularly. It was very uneven.

And the fucked up thing was he could make a humorous observation occasionally, but it seemed like over the years he grew more and more dissatisfied with letting Anthony, Jimmy, and the different comic guests get all the laughs. They'd be riffing, clearly having a great time and doing hilarious material, then Opie had to do his famous, "Let's go to the phones!" or read a joke off the instant feedback from one of their doofus fans.

The fans are the oddest thing about that show. There are people like me and I imagine many of you who enjoyed the show for a long time without ever wanting to call in or be a part of it in any way, being content to just sit back, laugh, and enjoy it. Then you have those knucklehead fans that Ant made the grave mistake of interacting with on reddit. These are your "fans" and they're harassing your coworkers, friends, and family?! What the fuck is that about?

Then you have the Bobo's, Stalker Patties, Lady Di and Marion type fans who never laugh at any of their jokes or even really seem to understand that they are doing a radio show, yet for some reason these were their "superfans". lol. What a strange thing they had going on with that show.

I'm not usually a fan of Anthony's twitter spats because it's usually just embarrassing and it actually kind of saddens me that someone who lost a multimillion dollar job over Twitter continues to get into petty drunken slapfights at 5 in the morning. The only things that have made me laugh in recent memory was getting Chelsea Clinton to deride him for making fun of Zika diseased infants and convincing someone that Bobo was the head of his network and getting them to complain to him. However his latest escapade has actually been amazing as it seems he has met his shitposting match in none other than OJ Simpson's lawyer. Anthony made a tweet insinuating Ron Goldman should pursue "extralegal means" to get justice and for the past four fucking days OJ's lawyer has been threatening legal action, shitposting, and roasting the living shit out of Anthony. Not even Anthony can keep up.

As of now there are 82 @anthonycumia mentions on this page alone and he does not appear to be stopping. If the guy is this driven who knows if he's actually willing to take him to court. It would be an amazing twist of fate if Anthony, who got his career by making fun of OJ, lost it all for the same reason.
