It was pretty much Opie muttering about "after what I found out about him, I'm never talking to him again," with him complaining twice and then just refusing to elaborate.

"It was so awful."

Then stop teasing and just say it, fucker.
 
Are you talking about Jim and Opie's fight with Ester Ku in studio? Didn't that just end up being Opie finding out or being told from someone in his "Philly crew" that Anthony was trolling him on sock accounts on twitter/reddit? Or that he was feeding personal information about Opie to other people that posted it? I remember either Anthony or Opie himself finally revealed it later and it was something gay like that and a giant nothing burger.
 
I think all of this proves that Anthony was the one in the tree house telling Richard, "I wanna suck your cock" and Richard was the one fake snoring. Anthony just changed the story later on.

I'm talking about a separate thing where Jim told Opie something that Ant did to Jim, which made Jim tell Opie - long after the show break-up but before the E-Rock Archive argument - that he would never trust Anthony again. It was probably a situation where Jim told Ant something very personal and in confidence, only for Ant to blab about it to other people for kicks. Then, when confronted, Ant was probably like "ayyy I'm just fuckin' aroouuuund." That's my suspicion, anyway, and it tracks with Ant calling Burr's wife an ugly gorilla publicly and then thinking they could still be friends.

I think Opie is a relatively normal guy who's not remarkably bright and it took him 10+ years to realize that Jimmy's Tranny "jokes" and Anthony's pedo and racist "jokes" weren't actually jokes and that's who those two actually are.

Anthony thought for years he was a celebrated racist when most of his fans thought it had to be a character (like Andrew Dice Clay) that he was channeling to be "edgy" until he really leaned into it and is slowly realizing that you can't be racist to your alleged friend's black wife and then still be friends. He also learned that corporations don't want that level of heat and really bungled an easy multi million dollar a year job being racist on twitter.

If there's anything I've learned from the show about them personally - it's that they don't know how to let go and move on. Anthony is pretty clearly carrying around heaps of childhood trauma and is never going to move on from it. He carries racism in his heart forever, even after he made millions and would never have to interact with another black person ever again but is so vengeful he still subjects himself to it. Opie has some pretty clear impostor syndrome and has an unhealthy attachment to his work. He really feels rejected when people from his career either betray/abandon him (Dice Clay, Jim Norton, etc) or the friendships fizzle out (Anthony, probably every comic that used to do the show). His relationship with Anthony went from close friends to co-workers but with Anthony pretty blatantly destroying his own life. He really seemed to take offense when Jim and Anthony became closer friends.

Jim Norton is.. well, Jim Norton. You'd need a real professional to know what is at the core of his mental issues, but a real psychopath to be sure.

So yeah I'm sure they've done all kinds of actual heinous shit to one another over the years and none of them are willing to work it out and let it go.
 
Opie did and said a lot of things that will make me dislike him for the rest of my life, but if you forced me to live next to him and his family, I would have no problem. He's basically at the end of the day a normal person. Just incredibly stupid.

Meanwhile I could not only live next to Ant & Jim; the fact that they're even alive on the planet somewhere is intolerable. They make my skin crawl.

Stetten had dated Pauly Shore before Anthony and James Gunn afterwards (He dumped her during the filming of the first Guardians Movie).

I swore at some point it was revealed Opie was referring to Anthony "borrowing" money from people? It was definitely something related to money/being a mooch.

IIRC he had a PC or a Mac that didn't do what he wanted it to so he shot it in the basement and was shocked at how loud it was. That's all I remember. I think he prefaced it by saying he was going to on LFTC back in the day.

Guys like that think so little of themselves that they believe it’s just a matter of time before she wizens up and moves on. So he (and others like that) sabotage relationships. Anthony’s preference in women is about the same age as when he lost his virginity when his dad, who called him Ol Pissy Eyes, found an adult woman to make a man out of him. His antics make a lot more sense when you hear about his own fucked up past.
