"Lady Di. It's not just a name, it's a suggestion"
Randomly had a Lady Di video pop up yesterday and heard this great line from Ant. He really was hilarious back in the day. (cue the "I'm still hilarious" while staring into the camera in silence)

When I listen to old O&A, all I can hear is Ant repeating funny shit someone else said.

Patrice: "Jimmy is the shape of whatever container you put him in."
Ant: "AHAHAHAHA THE SHAPE OF WHATEVER CONTAINER YOU PUT HIM IN HAHAHAAAAA"

I am honestly surprised Anthony is still alive. I'm not joking. He's aged terribly but there he is, still kicking

I'd trade ten Anthony's for one more year of Fez

Anthony looks like shit now because he had a heart attack not that long ago. Even Opie wished him a swift and full recovery.

TL;DR: Louis CK put a lot of money in Jim's pocket and Jim threw Louis under the bus immediately when Louis had his non-scandal.
I'll be honest I don't remember him specifically saying that what Louis did was bad or condemning his actions. I do remember him hemming and hawing about the whole situation while not giving a definitive answer.

Jim said he wouldn't work with Louis anymore after the allegations. That's pretty definite.

  • “I’m glad he apologized. He was right to apologize… I love Louis… but the reality is, it’s wrong.”
  • “These women sounded like they were telling the truth… I’d be a fool to not think there was something there.”
  • “I don’t like to see a friend going through it… I hope that this is all there is.”
  • “I don’t see that opportunity arising [to work together] for a long time… It would have to be under the right circumstances.”
  • “I genuinely feel bad for my friend… in reality, he fucked up. I don’t want to see his career ruined.”
  • Norton also said that Louis had personally denied the rumors to him previously, and that he believed him until the Times exposé and Louis’ admission changed everything.
I don’t get why anyone thinks Louis was wronged. He admitted to being a fucking creep. Speaking of which:

If you told me this is a parody I’d believe you.

What Louis CK did was ask to jerk off in front of girls and when they said yes, he jerked off in front of them. Literally he was so famous that women just couldn't say no so it was "inappropriate" because 30+ year old women are apparently just walking toddlers with 0 agency in the eyes of society at large.

For Jim Norton - who routinely engages with prostitutes, degenerate behavior, literal sex tourism, and has a large reputation for taking advantage of drunk girls on air and at shows has very likely engaged with more coercion then "Would it be OK if I jerked off?". Jim Norton is regarded as one of the filthiest people in the industry and should not be taking the moral high ground against anyone ever with regards to sexual consent.

Despite all of this - Louis always had Jim's back and put him in nearly every project he worked on (and most of the Cellar crew too, not just Norton) so Norton leaving CK out to dry was entirely wrong and the most worm thing that Norton could have done. The only small lining is that Louis may have told Norton "just throw me under the bus who cares" (which he allegedly told his agent to do) but Jim has 0 backbone or integrity.

I did some digging into the upcoming "Patriotic Comedy" tour, and not only are they charging $65 per ticket at minimum but they are keeping the venue a top secret until the day of the show. They've convinced themselves that they are the most cancelled comedians in America ever, and that there's a genuine security risk from Antifa, so their layers of security have gone from hiring methhead bikers to do security to now just inconveniencing potential audience members. I've never seen such elaborate planning for such an unanticipated event ever.

Also to note, its at an 18+ venue. Generally, comedy clubs are 21+ because most serve alcohol, so this means they had to rent some awful venue like a Little League stadium (which is what Anthony has done in the past during "Comedians of the Compound" alongside performing at a fly fishing tournament)

And Josh Denny is first on the bill? Best case scenario they listed this like a run of show, with Denny hosting, Gavin as middle and Cumia headlining. But that’s a charitable interpretation, especially considering Denny is the only one with any standup experience.

I'm pretty sure most of these happened when Louis was just a road comic in the 00's. He wasn't Chewed Up Louis CK, he was some nobody redhead road-dog going from town to town.

I don't think ol' 6-sharpies or dildo-ass will be drawing the ire of trantifa. Even the most dedicated opposition doesn't care about these has-bens. I swear so many of these fags are still living like it's 2016.

The Compund Censored YT clips channel uploaded an hour from Ryan Katsu Rivera's last show as Gavin's producer from Feb 2025 before he left to become 5th chair with Sam Hyde.

Ryan & Gavin reminisced about how he went from fan working in a sushi restaurant to Gavin stealing him as producer from Compound.

Some Compound related tidbits:

- Ryan was living in upstate NY two hours from NYC playing in a band and working in the kitchen at a sushi joint, listening to O&A at work. He talked about only discovering O&A about a month before Cumia was fired from Sirius.
- Ryan originally got their attention from doing impressions of Pat Dixon on the crime beat, hence his Twitter handle @ AsianPatDixon. He used to call in to Pat's show, then go on the Reddit with a sock account to try to convince other fans how awesome his call-in impressions were
- his in to an invitation to the Compound studios was running into E-roc in person
- the Compound studio was so small that one of the first times Ryan walked in, Cumia was sitting there by the doorframe in the lobby couch and Rivera was starstruck
- Ryan would spend his weekdays hanging out in the Compound studios from dawm until dusk. At the time, McInnes was on the Compound network with GOML doing a morning show. When Ryan first met Gavin in the lobby, McInnes told him he had to go take a shit.
- Rivera would hang around late night with Pat Dixon. Dixon would do late night skits that would not necessarily make it to air. Ryan, still living upstate and working at the sushi restaurant on weekends, would often stay so late with Pat that he'd miss the last train and would get stuck in the city. He burned through about 7k over a few months between commuting and hotel rooms just hanging out unemployed at the studio daily. Eventually his solution was to get a job at a NY hostel for free room & board, where he got his knife and bike stolen, sleeping 8 to a room.
- he hung around the Compound studio so long that they eventually trained his on the Tricaster and soundboard, especially late night with Pat Dixon. They also gave him access to editing software to experiment with doing graphics and bumpers.
- Gavin eventually poached Ryan from Compound when he was leaving for CRTV. Pat Dixon was mildly annoyed because he was using Rivera in a lot of his late night creative work. McInnes just mocked Dixon's extra work as unmonetizable and said he couldn't afford to keep Rivera.
- Apparently Gavin & Ryan were on the cusp of moving to Austin, TX when CRTV was acquired by The Blaze before McInnes was fired as part of the deal.

This is the issue here. It isn't so much about Louis C.K. and whether or not the backlash he received was justifiable. It is the hypocrisy of Jim to throw a friend of his under the bus despite all the skeletons in his own closet.

You also have to remember how Jim spoke about cancel culture on the radio for years: he constantly bashed people for their cowardice and fakery. He always argued for how he wanted to see people stand up to the media and not beg for forgivingness. And yet when push came to shove, he himself pussied out. Why? Because he doesn't want the media coming after him. He also thinks he can buy brownie points with them by going along with their crusade.

It is the same reason why so many people bash him for sticking with Sirius after they canned Anthony: despite all his virtue signaling about not just going along with the money or having consistent values, when his bottom line could be impacted he immediately chose to stick with the well-paying gig over backing his friend.
