Oh no I'm hoping they make it just so I can see a pic of them in 20 years when Nikki who by then will be pushing 50 and his male body has taken over with age and he's just given up the charade of being a woman for the most part. You also have Norton who will be near his 80's by then and so you'll possible have a Mr. Magoo looking mother fucker in a wheelchair being wheeled around by a 6'7 Norwegian Man with long hair if it hasn't fallen out who at most is wearing make-up.

It's funny how Jimmy smoked a little weed and drank a 6 pack of wine coolers at 17 and talks like he was some hardcore addict who needed AA and acts like he's been recovering for 40 years, meanwhile all this time ignores his real addiction to cock. I don’t doubt that Jimmy is an addict who needed to get that shit out of his life. Only complete fucking morons wait till they’ve collected DUIs, lost jobs and other wreckage before they get their shit together on that score. I know several people who crashed and burned hard as teens (including serious criminal convictions) but thanks to supportive parents were able to knock that the fuck off in their early 20s.

My understanding is that Jimmy also goes to one or more of the 12 Step groups for people who don’t just “love sex” but whose mental obsession and physical compulsion to pursue degenerate behavior fucks with their lives. A former friend of mine is active in those groups and unlike with alcohol or drugs, what constitutes “sobriety” isn’t so cut and dried. Different people have different obsessions and compulsions so they work with a sponsor to figure out what their “bottom lines” are — those red lines that, when crossed, constitute being out of control. Last I talked to him, my friend’s “bottom lines” were not fucking anyone whose name he doesn’t know, not picking up literal streetwalkers, not ducking out of work or family events early to go fuck randos, etc. For some they have to give up porn or go nofap because they can’t jerk off in moderation and do it so compulsively that they cause themselves physical injury. I would be very curious to know what Jimmy’s “bottom lines” are. He’s been talking a lot about how he really wants to cheat but so far has been able to restrain himself.

I’d also be curious to know which of the sex 12 Step groups Jim goes to. Some of them are more frequented by fags and trannies than straight people. I can imagine him going to the ones dominated by heterosexuals and telling the whole room how he’s a “straight” guy married to a dude.

I agree with @John Andrews Stan 100%. Not everyone who goes to 12 step groups has completely crashed out on life. I never had any legal or serious interpersonal issues with my drinking, but I still drank excessively and needed help. Some guys in my group did hard time. Everyone is different. The problem, as JAS highlighted, is Jimmy seems to struggle with his bad behaviour years after.

What a lot of people have pointed out, even before the O&A split, is that Jimmy still acts like a fucking asshole and has a lot of addict behaviour even though he's sober. That's the whole "dry drunk" concept: someone who is not using alcohol, drugs, or doing whatever their addiction is (e.g. sex addicts being good boys, gambling addicts not gambling, whatever the case may be), but has not addressed the underlying problems that led to their addiction.

The core of 12 step programs is not cessation of addictive behaviours and, despite what people think, it's not the God stuff. It's the part of the program where you actually write out and acknowledge all the fucked up ways that you behave and then work on changing them; or, at the very least, mitigating them.

I actually get the impression that Jimmy goes to very liberal groups that tolerate relapses and don't give him any shit. At least with AA, the heterosexual rooms filled with old white guys will tell you to your face that you're fucking up and need to get your shit together. Also, a lot of stand-up comedians go to AA, including some very famous ones that I have met more than once and will not name, and I highly doubt Jimmy wants to run into those people and have to face them.

Jimmy is a coward and a worm who never faces uncomfortable situations, which is why him and Anthony get along so well.

Yeah he reminds me of an old saying I’ve heard in recovery circles: “They’re not ‘old behaviors’ if you’re still doing them.”

I feel like Jimmy got in over his head with this crazy bitch and is afraid to admit it. He seems to have an inkling that this is the case, at least judging from the frequency with which he says he never would have gotten married if it hadn’t been “necessary” to overcome visa issues.

They also seem to be at a real impasse over the issue of having kids. He REALLY doesn’t want them and I hope he doesn’t back down from that. Bringing a child into the world to be raised by a deranged tranny and a degenerate worm is a fucking terrible idea.

Considering that Jim fully financially supports this person, who seems to be an active alcoholic/addict and has zero intention of earning any income, he’s gotten himself into an extremely fraught situation. I suspect he’s touring the most D-list comedy clubs in America in part just to get the fuck away from this lunatic.

What boggles my mind is why did he even choose to marry this thing in the first place. If he wanted to go fuck a tranny he could just go buy a hooker or other sex worker whenever he wanted. He didn't have to bring one permanently into his life when he likely didn't want to in the first place.

I understand why certain men get married even when it is clear that they don't necessarily want to or that they know they aren't going to be able to handle it. A lot of people want to give off the impression that they are normal. Or the think they can just get away with doing whatever they want in a relationship. Or they really don't understand what comes with a marriage.

But Jim to me never gave off any of those vibes as to actually caring about that kind of stuff. Much like Anthony he comes across as a guy who just wants to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. A relationship for him is just him not having to pay top dollar to get fucked. Why he would care about parading around his tranny partner as a legitimate relationship makes no sense to me.

His standup sucks because he isn't a smart guy.

Being quick and mean on a radio show is easy (even Opie could do it at times) and it was largely about just being as shocking as possible (while still getting out over the airwaves). Opie, Anthony, and Jimmy would normally just beat up people much smaller then them and it was very rare for him to actually have to be actually smart. The best he could muster was "stubborn".

Even if he wasn't afraid of getting cancelled - he just has never written anything great or thought provoking and frankly isn't capable of it. O&A was the absolute most famous or memorable he is going to be and most of his bits were "intentionally annoying person". He was never going on to hotly anticipated comedy specials, TV, or movies.

The same applies to Anthony and why his standup is awful - he's also just not that smart. A good standup set is like a story - it has to be well thought our and laid out. It has to have a few acts and a very well thought out final act. Ant and Jim just ignore all that (despite knowing a ton of successful comics) and basically wing it.
