Maybe idk... after the hundredth intern he verbally assaulted on air, It was quite obvious Fez had problems that only made them worse when he was under the influence, or feeling personally threatened that "he" (as Fez) took it against the show and fans.

Todd was a complex individual.

The whole "daddy-daughter" type radio is really, and I mean really unbearable when you have Gail as the Co-Host. I never understood why after Fez retired, that Ron brought in someone who has very little radio experience into the 2nd mic role when you had guys like Chris Stanley, or East Side Dave carrying most of the co-host work while Fez had his fits or refused to talk.

Ratings on XM don't matter, or is even a thing as most of the platform is heavily dependent on audience numbers which I doubt they pull a decent yet small number of people.

I'm like 90% sure they care more about install bases via new cars than by subscribers.

That show, and probably many others are there just to fill airtime.

O&A’s true strength was the guests that got invited to the show. That’s why an O&A reunion would never work: most comedians are garbage and the ones who were on the show 15-20 years ago would either big time O&A, are a pale cucked shadow of their former selves, or dead. It’d just be tired and boring fags like Nick DiPaolo or cunts like Chrissie Mayr.

Count Cumia got cat fished by some weird 40yo man pretending to be a 14 year old girl. Anthony even sent "her" a Macbook. In the OnA alog community, it's known as the "selfcuttinggirl saga" because the man used "selfcuttinggirl" as a username.

Yeah that stuff I know about. But I’d never heard about Ant and Jim raping girls in the studio after hours.

I don't remember hearing Ant was involved but it doesn't shock me but yeah, I heard about this back in the day. I heard it was Jimmy who took advantage of the pass out girl and Ralphie smoothed things over with the cops.

I think what has saved them from this coming to light in the general public is one they're not uber famous and are all now has-beens. Two everyone involved had incentive to keep their mouths shut. & Three the girl involved either turned her life around and doesn't want her friends and family to know her past or sadly more likely O.Ded. The girl was getting pass out drunk on a morning show where she was there to do sex acts her life wasn't exactly on a winning path.

Ironically Ralphie saved the show that day and Ant eventually in his early Compound days when it was just his side gig after doing O&A in the mornings, he trashed Ralphie saying he found him annoying and never liked him.

All of this is making me think about a story Ant told on the air about his girlfriend who was "18" at the time having an asthma attack and ending up at the hospital in pediatrics. He said he didn't know 18 still went to pediatrics and honestly that always sounded weird to me because every hospital I ever went to 18 was the cutoff point. In retrospect the legal age of consent is 17 in NY, and I bet the old creep was dating a 17 but didn't want to say so on air. But to his credit Opie and maybe even Ant knew the story of his girlfriend ending up in pediatrics was gold.
