O&A was for people that were too dumb for Stern. Any show that didn't have Patrice or Colin Quinn doing the heavy lifting for three hours was unlistenable

Even when Fez was in the depths of his madness, he could fire off a line seemingly without effort that would totally catch you off guard and make you actually laugh out loud. Ron and Fez is the only radio psychodrama/comedy in history, and nothing will ever compare

the problem is that R&F was performance art rock in a world of punk and heavy metal. you can't trust a single thing Fez said. its the only show where they'd have the set up on monday for a punchline on friday. the XM era was mainly Ron dragging Fez through the show, but no one really knows how much was a bit. Basically imagine if the Rollin and trollin video was legit and Chris and all the trolls were all part of the same collective, and it was all a huge joke. thats the closest you could get to R&F.
