Great Mills High School in Maryland was on lockdown after a shooting on Tuesday morning, school officials confirmed.


The incident was contained and the St. Mary's Sheriff's Office was on the scene, the school said on its website. Maryland State Police also told Fox News they were responding to the incident. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were also heading to the scene.


There has been a Shooting at Great Mills High School. The school is on lock down the event is contained, the Sheriff's office is on the scene additional information to follow.
Parents/Guardians should go to Leonardtown HS for reunification with GMHS students

The Sheriff's Office warned parents to not "respond to the school" but instead go to Leonardtown High School, where students will be transported.


NBC Washington reported multiple injuries, but that was not immediately confirmed by authorities.

So this school was actually guarded by an armed good guy who actually did his fucking job and stopped the shooting before it became worse? Expect this to get zero press coverage; can't run anything that doesn't fit the narrative.

Suspect Austin Rollins’ two alleged victims -- a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl -- were shot in a Great Mills High School hallway just before classes began, authorities said, adding that Rollins, 17, died after exchanging gunfire with a school resource officer.


"There is an indication that a prior relationship existed between the shooter and the female victim," St. Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron said at a news conference today.

Shooter confirmed dead.

Female victim is in critical condition
Male victim in stable condition.

Shooter had a prior relationship with the female victim.

Another Parkland survivor, Jaclyn Corin, tweeted, “Less than a WEEK ago Great Mills High School students walked out with us to protest gun violence…now they’re experiencing it for themselves. The state of our country is disgusting – I’m so sorry, Great Mills.”

It's almost like walk-outs, sit-ins, protests and candlelight vigils don't stop violence.

The gun was illegal. The kid was 17 so can't possess a Glock. That means he stole it or purchased it illegally. What are they going to do? Make it super-duper extra illegal? I am not sure what else you can do here besides what the SRO did.
 
I kept seeing the "When your leaders behave like children, your children must behave like leaders and change the world" meme being passed around after the Florida shooting. Sometimes with that shaved-head girl's photo on it.

Gen Z are leading the revolution against gun violence and bullying, you say? Gen Z is going to change the world? Funny, because from here it looks like Gen Z is also killing each other.

Oh the children are leading alright. But not into a better world. Rather a slow descent into a Brazil-like failed state.

This is an escalating problem for GenZ, let the autistic kids and their Millennial parents figure the shit out.

I'm going to sit here watching with my vasectomy, a bottle of Jamison and a shotgun while remembering a time when we just kicked each other's asses in the halls like rational people instead of shooting each other over hurt fi-fi's.
