oh boy. get ready for flashbacks, filler episodes and power levels going bonkers.
you're not kidding with the filler but i've come to like those more than the main arc. the other ninja team dynamics are way more interesting than naruto chasing after some emo shit. i wish they had more of those in the beginning than after all the bullshit. i starting to hate sakura and sasuke's stories.
Garupan has just announced the release date for Das Finale Part 3. They've chosen to give us a wonderful Christmas gift, releasing the Blu-Ray (and subsequent fansubs) on Christmas Eve.

oh hell yes can't wait. the shitty synopsis around the web makes it to be full of tank battles.

Yeah it was pretty much popular in the Philippines as many are fans of Yu Yu Hakusho renamed Ghost Fighter, Recca was always compared to YYH. In both shows they Westernized the names, I remember reading something that the name Fuuko sounded dirty to some Filipinos, they renamed her Aira.
>Filipinos
They always pick bottom-gutter garbage don't they?

Is she really trying to argue that the outfit didn't work for her? There's a ton of girls who have cosplayed the outfit almost to the letter and they did it for free...
"B..but they're photoshoots"

That excuse can't be used cause of these:

Never forget the legend:

Also, even if we forget Faye Valentine for a minute, Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in the actually good Tomb Raider live action films, Milla Jovovich as Leeloo from The Fifth Element & Alice from Resident Evil, any female wrestler & fighter in general, & professional pole-dancers (who need skin-ship with pole to actually create friction) prove the point to be moot.

If I had the budget to make one of these garbage live action adaptations, I'd just take all of the money, give it to the original creators, have them make an original property "in the style of", and give them as much creative control as possible, insuring fan trust and creative motivation.

That way I don't PAY to use to use the rights, but instead OWN the rights to a new property, one that people will still be interested in years later if it turns out.

Seems more reasonable than "standard netflix dreck, but make it a shit remake to fuel hate marketing, guaranteeing a slight profit"

The thing with Netflix specifically is “hate marketing” doesn’t make them money. People aren’t paying $30 to stream this shit like on Disney+, hate-watching to boost numbers now certainly doesn’t ensure they’ll stay subscribed to hate-watch the next thing; if anything it’ll turn them off.

Weirdly enough, IIRC, Shinichiro Watanabe actually is part of the production. In fact Mamoru Ooishi actually worked in GitS live-action.

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi

Igarashi Futuba’s new job would be great if her senpai, Takeda Harumi, wasn’t so incredibly annoying! Futuba hates his laugh, she hates how big he is, and she really hates that he treats her like a little kid. Just because Futuba is short and looks young doesn’t make her a kid, and just because she spends so much time with Takeda doesn’t mean she sees him as anything but an annoying senpai…or does she?!

As someone that started reading the manga to this last year, I think the trailer looks nice. Between this and the Komi Can’t Communicate trailer, along with news that Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya is coming back with a new movie, I still stand by the fact that 2022 might be one of the best years for anime.

Finally sat down and re-watched Hellsing Ultimate, and it’s pretty damn solid. Some of the animation does look a bit wonky and off-model and I’m not sure if that’s intentional or not, because most of the time it looks fine and there’s clearly places where it’s purposely used to make the characters look more grotesque and monstrous. One thing that stuck out to me is that the explanation for how Alucard, basically a near-immortal eldritch god, was defeated actually didn’t feel like total bullshit and made sense in the framework that had been set up.

And like seriously, who DOESN’T love Nazi vampires? Give it a watch if you haven’t already.

Recommendations for romantic, bishounen, reverse harem anime? With tons of fanservice. Plot is not a requirement. Just fanservice.

Something like Brother’s Conflict, Amnesia or Diabolik Lovers, just less creepy

This manga is getting an anime too, let's fucking go! A lot of manga I really like are getting adaptions recently, I hope this continues. Can't wait for the twit mob to have another meltdown though because of the tan chick and the kid.

Also, me and my roommate watch anime together most nights (because that's what heterosexual men do) and found out the mutual friend we mooch a VRV subscription off of unironically likes Redo of a Healer. Don't really know how to feel about that.

Holy shit, I just remembered Ranger Reject was a thing! I’ve got like 4 months of chapters to catch up on.

. i starting to hate sakura and sasuke's stories.
It gets worse.

Regarding that Naruto vid I posted, I figured out why I hate the vid so much. Simply put, I says that Rock Lee and Neil were wrong.
Even if the entirety of Naruto was about "understanding", what's to understand about a hypocrite like him? The understanding aspect only works ONCE for the series with the Zabuza arc.
Naruto would accept anything that resembles him, related to him or to Konoha.
Naruto would even praise the Uchiha that made him an orphan in the first place.

At least in terms of him and Sasuke, I read that Kishimoto based the Naruto/Sasuke relationship on him and his estranged brother. Essentially, Kishi is desperate to reconnect and talk to his brother while his brother wants absolutely nothing to do with him.

Great, now I feel like a dick for mocking that silly scene where Naruto has a panic attack at the mere thought of Sasuke having to face consequences for his multiple death penalty-worthy crimes.

Oh, that was a stupid scene for sure, but I can at least forgive Kishi for it knowing more context, even as I continue to laugh at it.
