So. My wish was apparently granted. They just announced the 2 season for Youjo Senki. At least as far as I can tell. They also showed 15 minutes animation of Tanya in Africa with her unit.

It's in production as far as I could hear. But my Japanese is really bad so take it with a grain of salt. But I am 90 % sure.
I can already hear the libtards seething about this on Twatter.

Tanya gonna ethnically cleanse Africa.

S1 was one of my favorite seasons of anime (the movie, too, was pretty great), so hopefully they don't fuck up the second season.

The French must pay for the future Rhineland bastards. Japanese Man Aryan loli will make them.
an isekai that actually uses its ridiculous premise well by playing it straight

fucking hell. dropped in to read UQ Holder because why not, and Akamatsu went fucking balls-deep by having the mc go on a literal fucking spree, with one instance fucking in fucking space. guess he got tired of the usual wimpy and pathetic mc, huh?
Yep, similar reaction to me. I mean I get it, it is that sort of series but boy howdy did they go all in on it.

So apparently Record of Ragnorak just got butchered by Netflix, with the main criticism being that it looks like a fucking PowerPoint..

Yes that is actual animation from the fight. And the anime itself isn’t much better, though it was always going to be hard to adapt when the manga pretty much doesn’t have a plot.
fuck looking at the studio, Ragnarok is made by the same people who'll do Muv-Luv Alternative anime. I have a fucking bad feeling about this.

Talk about being behind the curve when the manga Golden Boy had done the same thing back in the late 80ies. And didn't half ass it as the series by that point was hentai albeit vanilla.

fuck man I dunno, I just like seeing cool fight scenes and transformations and fantasy worlds
I cant with the pedoy schoolgirl and the whole tranny shit, I'm already bombarded with transhumanist and pro pedophilic shit every day I try my damnest to get away from it daily

That's so fucking weird, they did Hellsing Ultimate, so its not like they're all fucking atrocious. Maybe it was just shit deadlines? Though with Netflix, they seem OK with fucking Powerpoint anime, ala that fucking AWFUL House Husband adaption.

The new Tanya ova is nice. Having the army send the troops pasta with no water and sauce is peak army.
Really the one thing I dislike about the show is how boring the action scenes are, it's not even how strong Tanya's squad is, but just that they mindlessly zerg rush the enemy and beat them without any tactics 99% of the time.

The problem with the House Husband is that the author wanted it to be that way, just like a simple 4koma motion comic sort of thing, but Netflix decided to advertise it as an ANIME and got everyone’s expectations up. Had it been advertised as what it was, there’d been much less of a backlash.

Super HxEROS

As far as 2020 was concerned, you know how the old saying goes, “Never judge a book by its cover”? Well, this anime would fit this description. I think if anything, after the first three episodes, many people would tune out of this just based on the plot and pilot anymore.

Yet, for some reason, this series was surprisingly good due to it reminding me of a mix between Shimoneta and To Love-Ru. The harem genre might not be dying out yet, but I think this one isn’t as bad as many people would try to say online. If anything, I’d just be worried if this get a second season, since I think the OVA might just be enough for the time.

I’m very well aware that the title of the video in question won’t help my case much :story:

Ironically enough, the live action for the manga is better than the anime.

Apparently in Japan it was advertised as an animated comic but really Netflix's western marketing team must be so inept at everything.
