It's possible that sauce nao guy was unironically right about the slow response being for clicks. They left it up just long enough to get traction but still deleted it within a day so they can say it wasn't on purpose. Obviously they can't let this happen all the time, but once in a while? Sure. Keeps the twitter trash nice and bloodthirsty and they don't forget the enemy exists. Like a "two minutes hate" except it makes ad revenue. Hell that's Twitter's entire business model. The pot bubbles on it's own but you gotta stir it sometimes.
 
That thread was a trip and a half while it lasted. I am curious as to why he did it considering he had a Twitter account since 2012, so it's not like he created an account for the sole purpose of getting Twitter clout.

Honestly I get the general complaint of people shoving in current shit in a show that made no referance to it in the first place but this probably the most tame examples I ever seen and to think that entire thread all started over a anime girl saying sus and it turns into culture war shit. What a fucking dipshit.
 
I feel conflicted about this. On one hand I couldn't care less about this wave of manga whose entire concept relies on a singular cute girl (on the title manga) + gimmick (Uzaki, Nagatoro, whatever), on the other hand this guy sperging so much over it and the amount of people mad at his sperging are pretty good. The level of second-handed embarrassment I get from all of this is too much. In conclusion everyone involved should get shot, anime was a mistake.

He's over on poast, not much point in using Twitter if you have to self-sanitize to such a crazy degree. I looked at his account the other day and he appeared to be deleting his posts even before the hellthread, likely to avoid getting reported. We have a KF fediverse instance as well, for those who weren't already aware.

In such an instance you cannot argue against it, it is 100% absolute fact. For it's imperfections are what make it perfect, like the cracked tea cup fixed with molten gold. it is unique and one of a kind and assembled with such precision, an embodiment of man and nature working together to create art.

People complain about cringe shit like sus, but you can easily use different subs. My biggest issue is the title being changed to "Don't toy with me" insead of "Don't bully me". I know they changed it becuase bullying oh so bad and triggering, but Japan has a really bad reputation for bullying and yet they didn't make it "toy with me".

Personally I'm really enjoying it. Aside from the art and animation being good, the voice acting is really great.
Aren't all the people who whine about how "problematic" this stuff is, the same people who claimed to be kinky and into BDSM? Pathetic they whine about a sadistic character who clearly likes the guy she bullies. I personally think it's a pretty innocent and wholesome manga/anime, sure there is some crying here and there, but the characters are innocent as fuck, especially given the bullying is just a character trying to get the attention of someone they like. Thats some very young and innocent shit when characters can't even say they like someone.

I would say it makes the people behind it look bad, because they indirectly say that bullying and toying is the same thing.

Not upset about it, but it was a stupid decision that just gave the SJW's more bait. If they weren't hoping for this, because all publicity is good publicity?

I prefer Legend of the Blue Wolves (or Hot Space Cowboys as it was literally named on one cover) yes its gay and extremely explicitly but good on them for having actually normal buff dudes as opposed to the bishie sparkle crap we get in yaoi.

The Manga was changed to "Don't Toy With Me" first when it was brought over.
