Came back from watching Demon Slayer Mugen Train.
IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD AND I CAME BACK CRYING LIKE A BITCH. 10/10 was so worth it to go to the theater to see all of that action on the big screen because I know damn well my TV wouldn't have been able to do it justice.
I had a rough day and going to that movie made me smile and I am 10/10 buying it when it comes on DVD and rewatching the fuck out of it. The SFX for the breathing techniques were great, the only kinda weird thing was the CGI on a certain demon, but outside of that it was a breath taking experience that I would love to experience again if the price tag wasn't $60 between me and my mother . (I know the movies gotta make a profit but FFS.)
If you do go keep this in mind:
- If you go see the movie please have your shot or keep your mask on all the damn time because social distancing was FUCKED at my theater. instead of closing off every other seat, they closed off whole ass rows and then like people just started jumping over the tape and sitting down the theater did nothing to enforce social distancing. They did try cutting off the ticket booth but people kept coming since fandango enforces the "if you have an online ticket you are guaranteed a seat" thing but yea this- was ridicules' so careful those who are immunocompromised or non vax'd people are going to sit next to you, and fill up the do not sit areas and even sit on the fuckin floor please be safe.
- people will not shut the absolute fuck up. For the most part it was quiet, standard fair nezuko does a cute thing we all go awwww a funny haha we all laugh, a cool scene we cheer etc, but some people wouldn't shut up the entire movie. Maybe it's cause I rarely go to movies as is (and I only plan to go to the Jujutsu and BNHA movie if they drop where I live) but this really bugged me.
- There's quite a few scene's where it flashes pretty quick where you could get nauseated? Not worthy of an epilepsy warning per say, but since I know some people are sensitive to that shit keep it in mind.
Idc if I get trash cans, top hats, or puzzle pieces but it was wild seeing how everything went down from walking into the theater, and then leaving.
