My regretfully canceled/dead manga is Bastard!! It was about a demon-king type wizard named Dark Schneider that got sealed into the body of a young boy but is assumed dead. His subordinates regroup and continue the world domination thing later, and his older sister through adoption ends up unsealing him to avoid their kingdom being conquered. He still shares the soul and memories of his sealed identity so he's somewhat mellowed out but still a huge fucking braggart who flirts with every attractive female and threatens to kill everyone around him while he still mostly does the right thing.

It was a pretty popular Jump series before it went on indefinite hiatus. It was popular enough to get a 6 episode OVA, an SNES game, a PSP game, and an unreleased MMO. Anyway, the manga writer got erratic in his output and finally stopped in like 2012 or something. He still does stuff in the industry, but usually as a character designer. I looked at his twitter and apparently he's shilling an art book with updated designs of his Bastard!! work or something.

>watching a ridiculous over-the-top animu
>not wanting the ridiculous subs to match
Commie memesubs are great you pleb
Im jaded from when the eps were coming out and Commie deliberately sat on the subs and didnt release them for like a week as they were the only group doing the show

Didn't the LN have an awful ending that nobody liked? If it's a full adaption I can't see people being happy if they keep it accurate to the source, best hope would be the anime ends before it reaches the ending.
It was very shit actually. Like Prison School ending level bad shit, if not Domekano level bad. The subreddit has become a rant station since & the author got straight up death threats.

I never got into this series. But just from reading the summary of the ending, I can understand why it's bad.

From what I recall reading, Hagiwara lost a bunch of his Bastard work when his studio got flooded and he started getting eyesight issues somewhere down the line. This was around the time he was releasing the Bastard Complete Edition volumes which were the early volumes redrawn to match his current art style.

Not much sakuga from mushoten this week, as is to be expected. It's essentially setting things up for the next big arc. I was expecting the demon continent to be a lot flatter than it was, though, but the migurd village looks exactly like how I pictured it in the novels, just a bit bigger.

EDIT: Chaika 2.0 has arrived

Jobless Reincarnation is so cool. Its funny that it has Buddhist and Catholic themes of redemption. I still can't believe people hate it. Its not like the protagonist is acting like he used to. He's learning to deal with his problems in a healthy way. Yeah, he's a pervert, but he genuinely seems to try when he can.

The problem is they don't want anyone redeemed, let alone people that they hate.

Ny cancelled anime/manga is Resurrection Princess. It was a story about the royal family of monsters current generations fight for the throne. It was pretty standard, but what made it neat was the Japanese equivalent of Universal Studios owned it, which means that the author was able to use all of the classic movie monsters. Luckily, it was recently revived as Princess Resurrection Nightmare.

So it wasn't shit just because of shipping reasons (which was how I first heard of it)? Wonder how bad it got, then.

man the kaguya sama last chapter leaks are gold
I haven't been able to read Kaguya sama in ages. The last chapter I could read was a side character going to India for a single filler episode. I heard some people say it got woke afterwards?
I don't even care about spoilers, I need to know if Miko and Ishigami became a thing?

The manga has actually sold out on amazon a few times and specific volumes are still hard to come by. Once the anime is finished and it gets established stateside it could very easily become a big name series. More people just need to have access to it.

Fuck. I need this to happen for a complete wholesome ending, after the cultural festival it became my main interest since I doubt Kaguya and Shirogane will have anything other than a wholesome ending.

Does the manga still hold up? After the confession it seemed the mind games kinda stopped. On one hand I like the wholesome stuff, on the other hand I liked the mindgames. Maybe the person who told me it was woke was referring to the scene where Hayasaka kissed Chika, I assumed it was something more serious than some yuribait fanservice.

So far that was only yuri bait.As for the mind games, yeah they kinda stopped after the confession. Now its focusing on the more fluff side of things although we might get some action as it seems maki's family is setting something up
Edit:
New jjk chapter and
I cant wait to see what sukuna was smilling about.Yuta also avoiding using rika until now and stabbing yuji with his broken sword clearly is suspicious as i doubt the sword was long enough to fatally damage itadori and he apologized while doing it while also claiming he was playing.we most prob wants to confirm that itadori has a binding vow considering that gojo visited him b4
